On January the 8th 2018 I underwent what was supposed to be a simple laparoscopic surgery to remove a mass in my ascending colon. Because of her mistaken conclusion, Dr. Konya Keeling-Johnson expanded the scope of the surgery mid-operation and removed a large portion of my descending and sigmoid colon which had no cancer then stapled open ends of my colon shut to where my colon was no longer connected to my the anus. Over the next eight days, I was in excruciating pain. I continually asked for a CT Scan to see the problem but was denied till the 8th day when a second surgery was performed to reconstruct my colon. This has left me permanently disabled.
