Doctor Edmonds was my family doctor in Canada for several years and delivered my first child. His handling of my wife's pregnancy and delivery was second to none. He was kind, knowledgeable, thorough, accommodating, attentive and caring. He was never condescending or judgemental and always listened respectfully to our concerns, valid or not. We wish him all the best and think of him often. To those who have attacked his punctuality...I have rarely seen any doctor at the appointed time...keep in mind that you are not the only patient being seen that day...appointments run long...emergencies occur...one of those inconveniences that you experienced could have been on the day when Dr. Edmonds cleared his afternoon schedule and ran from the clinic to the hospital to deliver my child.

Dr Edmonds was my doctor in Nelson BC.I have never felt more disrespected in my life and left his office in tears on more than one occasion.He makes inappropriate,judgemental,comments like I just need a holiday in Mexico when I am on assistance due to health issues ,or that I could obtain a top level job in an industry I havent worked in for 25 years when he was requested to fill out forms for assistance,didnt listen to what I was saying just kept writing in my file,was consistently late.Flipped out when I had to cancel with lots of notice though. On one appointment he was 20 minutes late for a 30 minute appointment and spent about 10 minutes of what time was left on the phone about personal money making matters followed by the fastest creepiest pap test I have ever experienced.I hope as DR Edmonds heads into his older years and starts to experience life changing chronic health issues he may have more understanding.

Several weeks ago I was in need of a primary care doctor. I am lucky that Dr. Edmonds was accepting new patients in his Waikoloa office. He is an intelligent and caring doctor who listens well and takes my health care seriously. He is now both my primary care doctor and also the primary care physician for my family. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Edmonds was my family doctor in Nelson, BC and I feel extremely fortunate to have been one of his patients. Dr. Edmonds was always courteous and informative, he listened to my concerns and always had good advice regarding natural treatment options along with medicinal suggestions. I never considered myself unwell but Dr. Edmonds discovered a heart murmur during a routine annual physical. I tried managing it with medication the last few years but have to have open heart surgery to correct this condition. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Edmonds for being such an attentive and knowledgeable doctor. The people of Hawaii are lucky to have him & those of us who knew him here in Canada miss him. I know that he saved my life and I am sure I'm not the only one. Thank You Dr. Edmonds ~ Connie Vecchio
