As other have said, be aware of what you are getting into with this doc. If you want the hormones, all you have to do is pay and you will get them. There was no real exam, no pre-bloodwork.
When I had my consultation with him, it was hard not to just get up and walk out. He's the most insecure health professional I have ever encountered and I'm a retired EMT.
All he did in the consultation was tell me how awesome a doctor and person he is.
I'm not kidding. He told me about his four sons who are also awesome like him.
I just sat there stunned, trying to keep a straight face

I m not very happy with the service for the price I paid so far... Talk to him 5 min and had to deal with his assistants who doesn't seem to know too much... I keep telling them I got hot flashes even with all the medication they gave me and they keep saying ... that it may be because of consumption of alcohol...but I did stop it completely and still have them... they were clueless.. hard to reach them too. I feel I need to find another doctor.

Do NOT let this Doctor (who is not an endocrinologist) put you on steroids for low Adrenals!!!!!! it becomes a nightmare! I have been to two endocrinologists trying to get my adrenals to function again on their own (they may never). According to them, my numbers were never low enough to warrant being on them in the first place! His lack of follow up and letting patients self dose some meds is disgustingly wrong. Stick to what you are trained in Dr Brown. you have made a mess of my health!!

I saw Dr Brown at his 'True Balance' clinic in Sherwood Park. I paid $350 for a consultation for 'Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy'. --- VERY UNSATISFIED!!!! Dr Brown spent a total of 5 minutes with me....the rest of the time was spent with a 'BHRT specialist' who knew less than I do about the issues I was there for. WILL NOT GO BACK AND DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
