This doctor was amazing. She was thorough and very helpful to me I am returning to here in Courtice to reside here permanently from Alberta and needed a cardiologist as well as a family doc and within a week of asking her …. The cardiologist has already called me back to arrange services. I am hoping that she is taking on new permanent patients as my family doc.

My first MRI was in 2016 or 2015. She sat on my results for a year before I got them. Turns out, I have degenerative disc disease. Fast forward to my secknd MRI was for sure in 2016. Found out I bave Chiari malformation. I just had my third MRI in Feb which showed damage to C2-C6. Ask me if I have seen any specialists. Cause I haven't. I have been trying to get on ODSP for all of this and I haven't been able to because I haven't seen a single specialist which they need to have reports from to take anything seriously. There are a few other issues I have but this is the most serious. The neglegence cannot go on anymore and I feel it is time to take action towards it.

Dr.Novak is a amazing doctor, without her I would not be here today, but her receptionist Amanda is the worst receptionist I have every came across just like the rest of the comments she never return calls until days later I would really like to know what she does all day if she worked at another place and was not returning phone calls she would of been fired a long time ago it is about time Dr.Novak replaces her with someone who would enjoy their job and actually return patients phone calls. Many times if I was in the area would stop in to make a appt to see the doctor..
My daughter recently had a baby and she says the say about Amanda not returning phone calls I personally had to make a phone call and ask Amanda to call my daughter to book a appt for my grand baby or if I was in the area I would go into the office dial my daughter phone number then had it to Amanda so then she will have a appt for the baby.
I strongly feel Dr. Novak should replace Amanda it is one think that she does not return my phone calls but my daughters with the baby she should always return any parents that has a baby or a young child because babies get sick so quick.
Hope Dr.Novak makes the right decision

Great, knowledgeable, and thorough doctor.

Receptionist is terrible! She never answers calls or voice mails, I have to go in person to make all my appointments.

My husband and I were looking for a new family doctor and we just had our first appointment with her. After meeting her I am so happy. She took her time, answered all of our questions and has excellent bedside manner. I have already recommended her to others.

Dr. Nowak is a very pleasant woman. She spent a long time with me during my initial visit and her follow up was excellent. I am very happy to have found such a knowledgeable and caring doctor. I am recommending her to all my friends, especially women with children as Dr. Nowak was a pediatrician in Europe.
