Beth Sweeney is hands down the worst person I’ve dealt with, not just medically but generally. She is condescending, apathetic, and useless — passing judgment in the sexual health space and offering her own opinion with no true listening or help whatsoever. I’ve never felt more frustrated leaving an appointment, and I cried in my car. I asked my actual doctor to never deal with her again but she called at 5:30pm on a Friday to relay ultrasound results for a scan I requested 2 years prior when I moved from a different province. I was on vacation and the new results were concerning, so that left me really panicked and upset while out for dinner. I voiced my frustration and she deflected, suggesting I “dig deep” and start advocating for myself because I’m “the one who wants this ultrasound information”, I’m certain she just never requested the files in the first place because she’s incompetent and uncaring. I honestly don’t understand how there can be positive reviews on here — I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s her posting from random fake accounts because this woman is a complete creature.

Beth Sweeney said I was anemic. I ended up on so much iron I haven't had a bowel movement in TWO weeks.

She's the worst.

For a nurse who specializes in sexual health, she was absolutely the most judgmental, condescending human being i have ever met. She was extremely judgmental when i informed her i have had unprotected sex in the last 6 months, and replied rudely with "why??". She would shut me down any time i told her about something going on with my health, explaining that she knows more than me. She made me do my vaginal swab for STI's myself, and got angry at me when i did not seal the test tube with the swab in it properly. She needs to watch her tone of voice and her mannerisms when she speaks to patients especially about
such a vulnerable topic. I left her office sobbing, felt defeated and will never go back.

Terrible experience with this doctor. Told me I was morbidly obese based on my height/weight when in reality I was probably overweight but also carry a large amount of muscle mass which isn’t accounted for in a traditional BMI calculation. She also asked very personal questions that were not necessary to the exam about my personal life. Questioned my decision to choose not to stay in resident at college and judged my decisions which were not relevant to the appointment at all. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

I have brought my 14 year old daughter to speak with nurse Beth about very personal issues. I appreciate and respect her highly for watching and listening to what my DAUGHTERS wanted. She truly wants what’s best for her patients. I even asked her for a contact card my daughter can keep with her for any future questions. Highly Respect her and suggest Nurse Beth. My daughter feels good and comfortable speaking with her and that doesn’t happen often with a 14 year old teen!!
