I had my surgery in January 2023. Mr Robert Steele is a brilliant surgeon. Mr Robert Steele is a man of character,his bedside manner is amazing and without fault. In every aspect from start to post-op visit I felt he actually listened and respected me (taking into consideration how my pain was affecting my life). I felt he truly understood that my in activity was due to my hip being so bad.) I didn’t feel rushed, he put it all before me and let me decide. Decide I did. Brilliant surgeon with character which transcends to his whole team. Absolute trust and pleasure to deal with every step of the journey. I believe that the team at St John of God respect him and the care they give reflects his humanity and standards. Absolute trust in him. Great surgeon, great human, great leader therefore great team. Thank you Mr Robert Steele for giving me my life back. By the way I not only walk in steps but in kilometres and I’ve been told to slow down.

Mr Steele is a brilliant surgeon and a lovely man who does not rush me through appointments and willing to answer any questions that I have. My husband and I have both had TKR by him with fantastic results. He explains things really well. Also his staff are just so efficient and keen to help in any way possible. I am currently about to have a second TKR and I had no hesitation whatsoever in going back to him. In fact I wouldn’t want to go to any other surgeon as I have utmost confidence in him.
