I would highly recommend seeing another psychologist is you want real help. Dr. Levitan's judgement is easily clouded by bias and can be very demeaning. My GP prescribed medication that could interfere with my mental health medication so I contacted Dr. Levitan and was asked "Why are you even contacting me about this?". It seems he is unclear with the CAMH Bill of Patient Rights as well as his staff as they have gone against many of my rights and when I brought it to his departments attention the immediate answer was to discharge me so I was off their hands instead of resolving the issue.

I don’t know why this man has good reviews he was very dismissive and rude when I spoke to him. He didn’t give off a caring demeanor at all, it was like I was talking to a brick wall. I didn’t feel like he listened to what I had to say at all, and was done evaluating me after about 20 minutes. Wouldn’t recommend anyone see him, find someone who will actually care about what you have to say.

Saw Dr. Levitan at CAMH for a mood screening. He had a wonderful student assisting him, and was generally very caring. I did feel a bit like he spoke over me and didn't always listen, but he was overall very reasonable and gave me very helpful feedback and resources.

Interview with the doctor was no more then 30 mins. Dr.Levitan knew his stuff.Both my family doctor who referred me and my lawyer and myself are still waiting for his report,now going into the 4th week.Very hard to get in contact with,have left messages.

Was referred to Dr. Levitan by my G.P. for a consultation. I was most impressed by his professionalism. His pleasant demeanor, style of questioning, and thorough review of my medical history was concise and effective. His interview techniques resulted in an efficient, yet accurate assessment of my condition.
