Incredibly rude and always late. Not just a little late but 3.5 hours late. My daughter was removed as her patient because I could no longer wait for her appointment because I had to pick up my son from the bus stop after school after waiting several hours. Her suggestion to my daughters health concerns was restoralax.

I have been seeing Dr. Liquornik for my daughter for the past 5 years. Honestly she is extremely rude. My daughter is petite and is underweight. This has been the case her whole life. She is healthy and active but just doesn't care about food. We are drilled at every visit about her weight. She has put so much pressure on my daughter and I, my daughter is starting to have mental issues regarding food. Dr.L is rude and pushy and a flat out bully. After reading these reviews I know I must find another doc soon so my daughter's mental issues around eating don't get worse.

I will begin with this.
For shame on every one of you for your appalling reviews of this absolute treasure of a doctor.
Yes. We waited expectantly on pins and needles like so many others on wait lists choked up with people like you, to get even the CHANCE to have someone with her credentials to even review my child's case that has crippled our lives for 12 years.
We left her office beaming.
She made sure she left me from our first phone appointment prepared, and with direction months before.
She listened and saw the evidence with my following through with every lab requested, 2 years under our belts of guided elimination diets by the most wonderful dietician in the field, and most importantly? respect for the process of medical deduction.
She matched our EFFORT, and commitment.
How dare the small few of you call for her head, when she has given such hope, and relief, to so many countless others.
If you are like I was 6 months ago, and you're reading through these reviews, with those butterflies that won't go away?
Take a breath.
Dr. Liquornik has been the highlight of this awful journey.
You want to prep well for your appointment?
Talk to your child about consent. Tell them that Doctor Liquornik wants to talk to THEM. She will match your confidence in that you have followed instructions and that you are committed to results. Don't lie. Because she is brilliant, and well versed. Listen to her.
She WILL help.
And she should be hailed for, not just her value, but to bring hope to other families on this road.
Eternally Thankful,

Can’t believe this woman is still practicing! So many bad reviews, still to this day! We had the misfortune of being referred to her, about 6 years ago. Worst experience ever!! Do not go this person. Always late, arrogant & rude. Should have her medical license revoked! Unknowledgeable & clueless. Should of sued her for misdiagnosing my son, resulting in his condition worsening. Thank god we took him to Sick Kids, who immediately admitted him, diagnosed him, operated on him & saved his life!

As said in other reviews very insensitive and rude towards teenagers. However thought about causes of my problems that I nor any other doctor that I had been to had thought about before. Potentially great for results not very friendly. Also 1 hour late to appointment.

I hate this doctor. Went to her as a teenager and she was one of the most insensitive, rude individuals I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. She was always extremely late, was dismissive, and mocked things I said or did.

I have since gone to therapy and dealt with psychological issues she perpetuated in my visits to her. Maybe she is good with young kids but she certainly is not good with teenage girls. On several occasions she commented on my weight (beyond what would have been reasonably necessary) until I was crying and then laughed at me for crying. I did, as many teen girls do, have severe body image issues and her insistence on spending the first ten minutes of each visit discussing my weight gain since she first met me (I had been severely underweight, and was still slightly underweight) as I sat there crying perpetuated those issues.

Comments she made relating being skinny to being sick pretty directly lead me to think making myself ill was necessary to be skinny (and start taking measures to be sicker and thus skinnier). Not that she would have known that but I think any doctor dealing with teen girls should have some level of sensitivity around those sorts of topics.

Overall was not a good experience having her as my doctor for about four years.

Saw this doctor over 10 years ago for severe abdominal pain, constipation, etc. She said I was overweight and this was the cause of all my problems, along with mental illness (and that I was lying about my symptoms). She did a digital rectal exam. I was 8 at the time. She did not explain what she was doing or why. Now I have severe GI problems, have had over a dozen scopes, MRIs, CTs, surgeries, etc. This could have all been avoided if she took my problems seriously when I first saw her as a child. My problems were made extensively worse as they were left untreated for years, as no one will accept another paediatric GI's patient. I tried to get my hands on the files from when I saw her as a child as was told they were lost and I would not be able to get them. If you think there is something wrong with your child, I recommend fighting to get a second opinion before it is too late and ruins the rest of their life.

Always 2-3 hours wait time even if you have an appointment- the staff are very nice but the doctor herself is not the nicest. Her bedside manners are terrible, borderline rude. I have to go see her for both of my kids and I always dread going there.

Never on time, keeps patients waiting for over 2 hours for appointments. Her demeanour is condescending and rude, she does not present to be approachable.

Dr. Liquornik is an amazing specialist. She has gone out of her way to help our son, even though he was a very difficult case to solve. From the very beginning, we felt that we were in good hands with her. She also has some rare qualities that can sometimes be hard to find in the medical profession, she doesn't have an ego, she takes her time with parents and patients and she listens to what you have to say and your concerns. Some of these comments have talked about punctuality, but the reason she runs behind is that she actually listens to her patients and doesn't rush them and she takes the time to explain things to her patients. It is well worth the wait to know you have a specialist who actually listens and goes through everything thoroughly . I strongly recommend Dr. Liquornik and others that I know who have her as their child's GI specialist have nothing but great things to say about her too. Also, Diane is great at running the office and does so in a calm, courteous and efficient way.
