Today, I am happy to declare that I am a 10-year survivor of a N-STEMI (heart attack), thanks to Dr. Michael D. Theal who skillfully performed balloon angioplasty and deployed 2 drug-eluting stents through two 70% and one 90% stenoses of my very tortuous, heavily calcified and diffusely diseased, circumflex branch of my left coronary artery (March 4, 2019). I chatted with him from time to time as I watched the monitor during the entire procedure. He even gave me a used stent to satisfy my curiosity. So far this winter, I have XC skied 6 times and snoweshoed yesterday with my wife. I understand why Dr. Theal has a consistently high rating in all categories from the other reviewers on this site. Amazing doctor, saved my life, when I needed to have a emergency stent put in, he explained everything to me risks and benefits etc.
