Her ego drives her not her concern for her patients, She refuses to approve tests other MD's have told her to. I discussed a reaction I was having from a med and she told me that was incorrect, I think I know what is going on with my body. The specialist recommended an MRI and she refused, I took her advice to go to PT and it cost me $500 out of pocket and my foot is still injured. She has refused to provide me with a referral for an orthopedic because of her ego. She is rude and ignorant not only to me but other medical professionals. Some of the other departments at lahey also suffer from qualified personnel..Stay away. she just called me to tell me she has the right to deny my referral to an orthopedic?? Why because she is a crazy ego maniac. she is not a specialist

Dr. Malone has been my PCP for more then 15 years. She has never disappointed me in any areas of my medical care. She is a very skilled, knowledgable and compassionate individual. Appropriate tests are always ordered and referrals when indicated. Dr. Malone also has a great ability to remember not just my past medical history but discussions and treatments that went with it. Bottom line - she listens to me and I listen to her. I'm lucky to have her as my doc.

Dr. Malone was moody, defensive and argumentative. I had skin cancer on my leg and on my lip which she said it was nothing, I insisted and she got me an appointment 6 months out with a nurse practitioner. I went to a dermatologist who diagnosed it and removed it. I had cellulitis she insisted it was a blood clot and I had to get a useless sonogram to and argue with her to get an appropriate prescription for an antibiotic to clear it up. She's not very good.

Dr Malone is my PC. I telephoned on a Tuesday morning and got an appointment for noon the same day. I was brought into an exam room early and the Doctor arrived once the nurse was done taking my vitals. Dr Malone took a great deal of time questioning about my symptoms, how they had come on, what I had done and what I was feeling then. Dr Malone performed several tests and based on that came up with a diagnosis and a plan of treatment. I was given a prescription and directed to follow up with her via telephone in a few days. I have had Dr Malone as my PC since 2008 and have found her to be very professional, knowledgeable and personable. I find her staff to be the same way. I would highly recommend Dr Malone to my family and friends.

Very driven by cost of services rendered; poor diagnostic skills; does not take a detailed account of symptoms - resulted in a misdiagnosis of my condition; does not discuss diagnosis she has made with you; does not provide much information about your condition; staff in the office are rude and inept; if you are sick and need a same day appointment you will be sent to the walk in clinic or you will be seen by another doctor who is unfamiliar with your medical history - received inappropriate care for my condition when this happened and had to seek treatment in the ER when symptoms worsened even further

She refused to have tests done on a friend who later died of colon cancer. Refused to run tests on me. I ended up having a lung infection and Colitis. When I confronted her she said "How was I supposed to know?" Ughhhh! Stay away.
