Dr. Marano has performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. I had Restore lenses implanted and one of the surgeries was done live. He is the most skilled and professional doctor and surgeon that I could have asked for. I have had no problems or issues since my surgery and my vision is perfect. The staff is very professional. I highly recommend Dr. Marano and his staff.

I had LASIK with Dr. Marano and my results have been incredible! He's my eye doctor and he's been taking care of my family for years. Highly respected and a total professional. Love his staff as well.

Dr Marano purchased my long-time ophthalmologist's office last year and the practice immediately declined. The office staff is rude and doesn't care to correct mistakes. I received the wrong RX for my contact lenses and had to call the office multiple times to get it corrected. I was also sent a balance bill for my exam SIX MONTHS after the office visit and was billed at a rate double what my previous doctor had done. I considered it unethical to not inform patients that billing practices would be changing so drastically. I'll certainly be going elsewhere next year.

We waited an hour and forty minutes for our
appointmemy. The tech reviews medical history, does the visual field test, and does the rye acuity exam--- yes the exam. He determines what your new prescription will be. The puts the first set of drops in, then someone else comes in to look in your eyes-not Morano! She puts in different drops and you sit and wait while you can watch Marano walk back and forth. When Marano eve that comes in he looks in your eyes, in our case says everything is fine and asks if we have any questions. We said yes, we would like a script for new glasses, his response was "That's already done". I asked if he was going to check it, and he asked is his vision changed recently. Said he needed a bunch of tests as a baseline which we could schedule and left. Under 2 minutes. Said we could puck up script at front desk which was a change from his old script, he never did the vision test. Done by a tech!!!

I am sitting here experiencing my eyesight improving! Had one cataract covered lens
removed mid-day yesterday. Got to admit the laser was a tad scary, but absolutely pain free. Naturally I was very impressed with Dr. Marano's experience, but I also found him compassionate - his assurance during the procedure was MOST welcome@ Further, I have found his staff seems to embrace that same mix of professionalism, compassion and patience. I do back on the 8th for my second cataract removal & sight correction! Simply cannot say enough good things about the Marano Eye Center.

Dr. Marano is great, but staff in incredibly rude. Be prepared to be in the office for at least 3 hours, sometimes more. Staff speaks at you instead of to you, no one introduces themselves, No one explains anything, exams are done and doctors runs right out of the room before you can ask any questions. Dr. Marano is a great, he did my Lasik surgery

We have been patients of Morano Eye Care for 15 years. The doctors and staff were fantastic at the Roseland location. We noticed a huge change for the worst since the move to Livingston. The front desk staff very rude and unprofessional. Several visits front desk busy talking amongst themselves. There is no request for insurance card or co payment. In addition I have been told more than once by the woman answering the phone to call back because they are too busy. The prior staff was great. In addition what a disaster in the Optometrist department. No one returns your call. Lenses are not marked left and right. I ordered one brand of lenses and received something different. The individual can never find the lenses or chart. Would not recommend. Absolutely no stars for the Optometrist nor eye dr.
