This doctor is rude, stubborn, doesn't listen, rushed and difficult to work with. Terrible!

Extremely disappointed with this office.. I was not feeling good do to a condition I have had and that everyone in Dr. Baur has seen me for. I called out from work and was required to bring a doctors note. When I emailed Dr. Baur office I was informed by Shannon Krisa I would need to make an appt for the note. When I called the office I was informed I would have to pay my $15.00 co pay for a 2 second appt with Alex Gonzalez to pick pick up the note.. WTF!!!! Really??? I've been a patient for years and have never had problems til now..

Terrible doctor. Required unnecessary appointments to refill prescriptions when I had just been in to visit her to refill/transfer the prescriptions as a new patient. I finally gave up when she refused to refill prescription while I was traveling so I switched doctors. Hands down the worst primary care doctor I have ever had!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Baur's for many years and have always been treated kindly and respectfully by her and the staff. Until today. I did not have an appointment, I merely wanted to drop off an insurance update and have some lab work done. Another woman and I were told that IF we had an appointment we should sign in and take a seat, otherwise they'd be with us in a timely fashion. Since neither of us had an appointment we stood by the door and waited patiently...directly in front of her. After approximately 15 minutes we were finally acknowledged. Another staff member had noticed us waiting and when she asked I explained we were told to wait since we had no appointment and the young woman who had directed us vehemently claimed she had not told us that. The woman with whom I had been waiting stepped around from the other cubicle and supported me....to which the young staff member simply said, "..whatever." Unacceptable behavior.

I had a terrible experience twice with the nurse who works with Dr Baur. It was enough that I am looking to find another primary care physician. I have tried to email and work with Dr Baur and she insists that I make an appointment when it is not necessary. Very common issues that she will not deal with by email. Insists that I come in. More than anything the office is the worse medical office I have ever dealt with and the nurse should be fired. I even wrote a complaint letter which I have never done before and talked to the office manager about her.

I asked for authorization to get a lab test and she refused, kept telling me to ask the specialist dr who said that my primary (dr. baur) was responsible. I finally went to express care dr who immediately gave me lab slip. Got lab test results back and confirmed my own suspicions of what I have. I could have died waiting for her to give me permission to get lab test. She does not answer messages promptly if she does at all. She and her office does not call about test/scan results.

We went to Dr.Baur's office for approximately one year. I found Dr.Baur very nice and helpful but only got to see her once. Every time I would call to get an apt. with her I could not and had to see the np. They were not friendly at all and would not treat me for a thyroid problem. Once I switched Doctor's I was treated for the problem and now feel much better. At Dr. Baurs office the np just wanted to treat with meds that I did not need, for example I had mentioned that I was feeling a little stressed out then Rachel was going to give me a prescription for antidepressants. No thank you! I don't need those. I wish they would have been nicer and that I could have seen Dr. Baur and I might have given a better review. I agree with the others, you should find a different Doctor. I was so glad when our insurance company changed and I would have had to pay more for visits with her. It motivated me to switch doctors for my family and I am glad I did. We are very happy with our new Doctor!

I have seen Dr Baur and she is great, although when my son broke my finger I had an xray done, they never called with the results...I kept calling in with no response. Finally a month or two later Dr. Baur called me but by that time my finger healed crooked, I was asked if I wanted to re break it to cast it and that was a no. On other occasions the NP I have visited have been horrible, back injury Kaise did ok years ok but major muscle damage the NP told me what the pain I am feeling was in my head....the care is poor and even for cash paying patients. I agree that the NP especially don't care about the patient, treat with a prescrip or don't treat at all, NP are not patient friendly and would rather make the insurance co happy. MA's have been very nice.
