The best...I usually am scared of going to the dentist but Dr Ho has made me not fearful..he is very good at what he does and he's not money grabbing like some.

I recently moved to North Van from the tri cities and found Dr. Ho. Our first visit was great and looks like we're all good for another 6 months :D It's good to be able to tell the kids that the work they're putting in every night paid off. Thanks and see you in 6

If I could give him a “0” I would. He is horrible, money hungry and pushy. It is not possible for him to have positive reviews. The positive reviews must have been written either by the doctor himself or his friends. He told me and my children that we all needed to have fillings replaced when they were not necessary. It is all about money for him.

I dont understand the great reviews for Dr Ho and this dentist office. Just average to me. The front staff are not friendly at all, the hygienist seemed did not go in to any depth about my teeth or even check gums as most do. It was a very quick cleaning, not very thorough. My appt with Dr Ho was maybe 5 min. He told me I needed fillings replaced and would have to be crowns. Then he went to his next patient next door and reviewed his xrays like mine and said the same thing, replace fillings with crowns. Wow, how this office rates high for North Van makes no sense. No, I will not be back.

Dr. Andrew Ho and his staff are so professional (know exactly what they are doing), friendly, and communicate very well (what to expect, what, when, etc). My son needed a root canal done. We were prepared to "suffer" with the pain, liquid food, medical leave for at least 3-5 days. One of Dr Ho's staff sit down with us to go over the entire pre and post surgery process, what to do and not to do post surgery, when to return for a review and other details. Dr Ho did the canal expertly and the whole surgery were done well before what was scheduled. Surgery went very well. My son was eating and chewing food the second day. Dr Ho's staff followed up to ensure that all was well with my son. Dr Ho and his team operates like a dream team. It is hard to find a professional dentist with an excellent support team (nurses, hygienist, front desk...) that makes visiting a dentist a pleasant experience. We have to travel from Coquitlam to North Van, but glady do so. We recommend Dr Ho to all our church friends who are looking for a professional, friendly, communicates very well, and supported by a "dream team" of nurses and staff.

New patient at Dr. Ho's office. Was a bit of a wait to get in but worth it. He was very friendly and took time to discuss my past dental experiences. Ended up needing a root canal . His staff were very good at finding out how much was covered by my insurance. I pretty scared before the root canal but all was done well with no to little pain after. The hygienist was very friendly and I look forward to my next cleaning. Overall I am pleased at the work done and feel Dr. Ho has communicated well.

I always refer to this place as the "McDonald's" of dentistry. So busy and people are just rushed in and out. I needed a dentist close to home, this place had great reviews, so I chose it. Upon my initial visit, Dr. Ho told me that I had 2 fillings that needed to be done, judging by my x-ray. I knew this to be true from another dentist telling me the same thing. However, on the day of the filling, somehow a new cavity magically appeared on the same x-ray! Now I had 3 fillings to be made. It seemed strange to me that this wasn't mentioned on my first visit, but I went along with it. Dr. Ho spent the entire time talking to the assistant while he did the fillings, and his inattention to his work showed 6 months later, when the entire filling fell out,leaving me with a large chunk out of my tooth. I went to another dentist to have it checked, and he asked me if I knew I had lost not one, but 2 fillings. I said no, I had no idea! 2 out of the 3 fillings that Dr. Ho put in had fallen out. The dentist who fixed them was caring, friendly and took the time to do the job right. He chatted with me at length while I was waiting for the freezing to kick in, and seemed like he really cares about his patients. Dr. Ho barely made any small talk, whipped in and out (probably due to the fact he has so many patients - like a dental insurance factory!) and I never came away feeling good about the experience. My fillings falling out were probably a one-off, and I get that mistakes happen. However, the fillings that I had done 10 years ago by my old dentist are still in my teeth. Just sayin'! I won't be going back!
