I am grateful everyday for Dr. Wong. He took on my case when I was so sick after having my surgery. I had seen numerous doctors as none were sure how to treat me and the infection. He took the time to listen and come up with a plan. He was very honest and thorough about what he was going to do. It took me 6 months to finally get better, but he was there the whole time checking in. When I got sick again recently with another infection he saved my life for the second time. He got me back on the IV meds asap. Dr. Wong and his staff actually care about you as a patient. Just know you are in good hands with Dr. Wong treating you.

Dr Wong is the most courteous, caring and professional specialist we have ever been to. After a long time awaiting on a diagnosis, he took very prompt action in getting IV’s started and done for my husband, to start process and ridding him of his pain. He is a compassionate doctor….a rarity, in these times.

Dr Alex is the most straightforward specialist I’ve ever dealt with. He went above and beyond to diagnosis and clear up a spinal infection this spring. He checked back to make sure the bacteria was completely gon. Later he was also in contact with the neurologist that did the spinal fusion. He’s a caring guy who did right by me
Can’t imagine the negative reviews unless it’s just the antivaxers bulllcrap again

I have just recently recovered from my second bout of cellulitis and I can’t thank Dr. Wong enough for his specialized and knowledgeable advice and care. He went the extra mile to meet me in emergency to ensure I was receiving the correct medicine and proper care. He then followed me to monitor my progress and was always willing to answer any questions or concerns I had. He’s a remarkable physician who goes the extra mile and I would highly recommend him. Dr. Alex Wong is amazing! He’s prompt, respectful, understanding and extremely knowledgeable. He truly cares about his patients and provides prompt and accurate care. He does not hesitate to answer any questions and follows up on a regular basis to see how things are progressing. Dr. Wong is an absolutely phenomenal physician and I highly recommend him to anyone needing care in this area of medicine. My family and I are extremely grateful that he was involved in my care at the general hospital in 2018. He always showed up to check on me when he said he would, he switched me to antibiotics that actually worked to treat my C. DIFF and he had an immediate follow up appointment with me after I was discharged. He made a definitive plan if there was a relapse of C.DIFF after I was discharged. He checked in on me to make sure I was feeling well and extremely punctual on answering any questions I had. He also made appropriate and very helpful recommendations for my care going forward. I consider myself SO lucky to have met and been cared for by Dr.Wong; even though he was not the primary doctor on my case, he did more to advocate for me and get me better than any doctor I had during my two week stay at the General Hospital. He is punctual, incredibly hard working, confident and just doesn’t mess around. His sarcastic sense of humour was also very much appreciated on days when I felt so horrible and homesick. Thank you for everything; Regina and all of your patients are so lucky to have you.
