Rude. Should retire if he doesn’t like his job as it seems that way.

Worst doctor ever! My sister went in with vomiting, dizziness, she kept passing out, and he diagnosed her with Vertigo, a couple weeks later it turned out to be a cancerous brain tumour that he missed. She has been in treatment and last week we had a scare and called an ambulance, she went to the hospital and she wasn’t seen by any doctor, no one took her blood pressure, did blood work, or anything. you would think for a cancer patient you would do that! He then came in and said she was hyperventilating, it was actually a thyroid issue.

What a terrible ER doctor. Sent a patient home with a diagnosis of diabetes and a blood sugar of 25 (should be 5) and no insulin to treat it as well as no referral. Saw the same patient a few months later with suspected internal bleeding from an angiogram and he said to go home and rest it would stop eventually. The cardiac surgeon followed up with this patient hours later and it was not normal and needed multiple ultrasounds and follow up care. I wouldn’t tell my worst enemy to see this dr.

This is the worst doctor in the world. He did not personally see the patient who had multiple compound fractures of the lower back. He sent a resident, Dr. Yu-Han Chang, who refused to examine the patient. The patient was prescribed inappropriate medication, and sent the patient back to work the next day. Months later, the patient is still not able to care for herself or even get dressed. The diagnosis was lower back pain/strain. Medical tests, x-rays, CT Scan, and a bone scan revealed multiple compound fractures. This misdiagnosis resulted in emotional scarring and further physical injury, as well as serious economic consequences still not sorted out many months later. This person's medical licence should be taken away, as he clearly has no medical knowledge at all.

For two years I’ve been dealing with a right hip issue. No one ever had any helpful suggestions...pills, physio, etc, etc. Went to WGH on Sunday with left hip issue. Went back again today and what a difference. Had Dr Bennett (no relation to Tony Bennett he informed us 😉)...as someone already said...he’s knowledgeable, caring, patient, and a great sense of humour, which really put me at ease for this old lady. If you are reading this Dr B...don’t change 👍👍...we are new to Woodstock area, and I can’t say enough good things about the emergency department...WONDERFUL team!!!

I went in with an eye that was burning. I was in to see the Dr. within 20 minutes. He inspected the eye thoroughly, numbed it and the nurse washed it with a saline wash. Very professional with a good bedside manner
and I left feeling 100% better.

I am rarely sick and see my doctor maybe once per year. I had to use the Woodstock Emergency and will be driving else where if I need to. The nurses were rude, I waited over 5 hours to see a doctor. To make matters worse, my bed way across from the nurses station. I heard the doctor and nurses talking about what they had for dinner ( 10 minutes ), the doctor discuss a food delivery service in his town ( 15 minutes ) then to top it off.....they were talking about a woman who came in with pains in her back and a zip bag full of drugs. I went out and asked when I might be able to see a doctor. He said his shift was up and another doctor would be coming in 30 minutes. After 24 years of employment in the social services field, I would be fired on the spot for
this behavior and disrespect to my clients.

I have had to visit this ER several times with my ailing father and it has never been a very good experience. Yesterday I had to take him in again and we saw Dr. Bennett....what a difference. He has the best bedside manner of any physician I have ever met. Very knowledgeable, caring and patient....he also has a delightful sense of humor yet it is appropriate even in a stressful situation. Dr. Bennett cared for my father with such respect and dignity....unlike many other physicians in that ER. I certainly hope WGH can hang on to him!! He explained to my father what was actually happening to him, and what he suspected needed to be done from here and referred him to his specialist and got him an appointment 2months earlier than it was scheduled for; due to his concern re: his health. I am not impressed easily, but Dr. Bennett changed my attitude about WGH yesterday. I'm not sure he realizes the impact he has had on our family from this one visit, but I do hope he reads this and realizes he made a huge difference for an entire family yesterday.

Sat in the emergency at Woodstock, Ontario hospital with an anxiety attack for over 2 hours and didn't see this doctor or anyone else !!! Even though his name is listed on my ID hospital band. My mother ended up taking me out of the hospital untreated. Complaint will be filed with Ontario Health. Very Poor service from some person who's supposed to be a doctor. Your best bet is go to a different hospital if you want to be treated !!!!!!
