I have been trying for 3 weeks now to get an appt to update my son's vaccines and 5 yr check up. I have left messages, called multiple times with no answer and....nothing. Am I the only one struggling to get an appt.? Wondering if their voicemail machines are working? It's really discouraging!

Dr. Laila is the best most experienced and professional pediatrician I ever met. She has been the doctor for my 4 children for the past 7 years and I would highly recommend her.
She is very knowledgeable and experienced and very respectful woman. We are all blessed to have her in Ottawa !!! She takes you even if her schedule is full. Always put time with kids need her attention.

As someone who witnessed Dr Ismail 's work, she is an exceptional pediatrician who possess an impressive level of expertise and knowledge in the field of pediatrics. She is attentive to details and diagnoses conditions that were sometimes missed in Cheo hospital itself. Yes she runs a busy clinic and might might have to wait for their appointment. But she does not turn away children and sees a good number of walk ins during the day. So let's be grateful. Dr Ismail does not work for making money; but rather she's caring towards her patients and families. She never charges for filling forms and is fluent in 3 languages so she tailors her services to accommodate her patients. Honestly, in a time where physicians and specialists are scarce, I am grateful for the ones who continue to practice because it is not a money making business.

Dr. Ismail, who, in my experience, prioritizes financial gain over professional medical care. Her approach towards patients is not only unprofessional but also lacks the compassion and knowledge expected from someone in her field. Shockingly, she neglects even the basic step of examining her patients. It is particularly alarming considering that her patients are children, who are especially vulnerable and in need of attentive care. For someone specializing in pediatrics, it is unacceptable to display such indifference and lack of empathy. It is disheartening to see a healthcare professional demonstrate such a stone-hearted attitude towards young patients. I urge the College of Physicians to take immediate action against Dr. Ismail for her failure to fulfill her duties with the care and diligence required in the medical profession. Shame on you, Dr. Ismail, for not living up to the standards and responsibilities of your role.

Dr. Laila is the best most experienced and professional pediatrician I ever met. She has been the doctor for my two children for the past 8 years and I would recommend her.
Two weeks ago, she saved my daughter who is less than 2 years old for getting into surgery by performing a procedure in her clinic professionally. She is very knowledgeable and experienced and very respectful woman. We are all blessed to have her in Ottawa !!!

Worst doctor ever! She is rude and always on her phone! Her staff is so rude too! also she can barely speak English! she also on keep the visits short so she can get as many patients as possible to make more $ because every OHIP swipe means more $ for her

The staff and the doctor are rude. You can't ask questions because they get upset at you. I had the most wonderful doctor previously but he moved away unfortunately. You wait hours for your scheduled appointment and at times she isn't even there. She spends less then 2 minutes with your child and walks away. I would love to find another doctor but it isn't possible at this time because of the lack of spaces.

The most wonderful doctor and compassionate human being. My daughter is in the best of hands because Dr Laila is her doctor. I visit Dr Laila knowing that I will always leave with a proper resolution and the exact diagnosis. She had gone over and beyond for us so many times and I am so grateful for her and her practice.
