Dr. Ludmila Shimanovsky is the best doctor in the city. For 20 years, my family has received great, knowledgeable care from Dr. Shimanovsky and her staff. We are so lucky to have this doctor. Her secretary is very polite and patient. I've been in difficult health situations many times, and Dr. Shimanovsky always helped me with perfect diagnosis and the right direction to cure the problem. Thank you so much for all that you are doing for all your patients!

Stay away from this utterly dishonest unethical rude hypocritical foul practice. Both secretary and Dr. let themselves unlawfully judge, stigmatize, misdiagnose, create a lot of problem for the patients and use deception in verbal and in writing in patient's medical records.

If you come to this doctor and tell her yourself what referral you need or what medication, she will give it to you,. That is what she is good for. With this kind of doctors, it is a waste of time to rely on any of her knowledge, care, attention. Even if she knows that she is wrong, she will find the way to refer you to another doctor and make another one responsible for her negligence and “who cares” attitude. Unfortunately, it is a common practice especially in her main language community. They all know each other and do whatever it takes to cover each other. There is nothing about health or patients. It is strictly business, and not always clean one. Also, doctors follow their ratings on websites and have people writing perfect , good reviews about them., for them to up their stars. I am not loosing my time anymore at her practice and advise others to be careful and vigilant with her and the secretary. If it is not caring and helpful doctor, just find another one and take your business elsewhere and let some good doctors bill OHIP. She does not have time for improvement having enough patients who still trusts her. Just find another practice and forget about her unfortunate “doctorship”. I just hope she sleeps well at night after all.

This doctors suffers from dismissive attitude and greed. Secretary is rude, unethical as the doctor. Doctor does not read specialist reports she referred her patient and keeps feeding medication. Shameless moneymakers. She should be stop from practicing before she hurts more patients.

Dr. Shimanovsky is a great doctor. I have been her patient since 2004. She listens and always tries to find the best solution in clear and precise manner. She helped me a lot through a very difficult and contradictory health situation. Her secretary managed to get me appointments in emergency situations, she is attentive and patient.

Wonderful staff and doctor. Never had an issue with her. Been in the waiting room plenty of times only to find many patients to be rude and disrespectful, I don’t know how the secretary has so much patience.
