I found Dr.Sochting was able to help me with issues that hadn't been dealt with by a lot of workers after a decade in the mental health system. I was a bit of a handful at that time, and a lot of mental health workers wouldn't have let me stay but she did. I always felt respected, and not like a diagnosis, which also happens a lot in the system. Participating in the p.t.s.d. Group she facilitated was a real turning point for me. Can't thank her enough.

I feel very comfortable speaking to Dr. Sochting. She allowed participants in the Depression Group to talk, but not in such a way that...anyone feels left out. She listens attentively, and taught me valuable strategies to deal with my daily struggles. Gives me hope that there's a bright light at the end of the tunnel. So grateful.
