This doctor is more concerned with medical documentation of symptoms than he is with patients actual lived experiences with their conditions. Dismissive of concerns. Rather opinionated on conditions he has never treated.

I've had 2 vein surgeries with Dr. Kvinlaug and he really seems like he cares about his patients. Covid took its toll on doctors,nurses and everyday people waiting for surgeries they needed but didn't receive. He gave me a bit of trust back in our health care system!

Dr. Kvinlaug is a very direct, always caring physician. He not once rushed me during rounds in the Hospital, always checked on all my vitals and made sure I was feeling ok. He is knowledgable with everything he was treating. No concerns and would recommend.

A horrible Dr. Typical of what Saskatchewan has become. My first vein procedure with him failed, he was using cutting edge technology, I guess he just didn't know how to use it. My second procedure then had to be a major surgery, he completed it and nicked a vein on the way out. He closed me up and just before I left the recovery room it burst and I was taken for another emergency surgery. He has since cancelled all 3 of my followup apts. I haven't seen him in over a year since the surgery. Lots of excuses, very poor skills and followup. My leg is worst than ever. Take my advice and NEVER take the risk of seeing this Dr. I can't imagine him teaching anyone anything.

Dr. Kvinlaug is a really excellent Dr. and I bet he is an outstanding teachers for med students. He is professional, he listens, he communicates well, he explains well, he is super organized and punctual (yes, believe it or not, it’s possible, this busy surgeon is on time, on schedule-amazing!), he is always prepared. His leadership skills were on full display in the OR. How he managed the team while he was doing the RFA for my various venes blew my mind. His commitment to new skills, his enthusiasm and confidence are worth looking up to. 5star rating for a kind man who clearly must have found his calling through a lot of hard and dedicated work. Glad he is here in Saskatoon helping me.
