Compassionate, perceptive, understated, supportive, excellent listening skills. Elsie is also has very good timing and offers helpful feedback when you are best able to hear it. I completely appreciate her skills.

Family member went to her for help. By the end of the ordeal the entire family was very broken. Not sure what happened. I did everything that was asked with an open heart but things did not end up well at all. She told me at the start, if the family member wants out then there is not much you can do about it, which is true. Didn't seem she put much stock in family as she was more aligned with a new age way of thinking. She seemed great at the start but near the end it didnt seem like she really tried too hard. She accused me of slander and libel after i sent a email criticizing her then asked me to come in for 1 on 1 therapy. Didnt communicate ethics to me at all. I'm sure shes ok for others but unfortunately it didnt work out for my family.

While I do not believe in rating therapists like restaurants, I've been seeing Elsie for well over a year and have nothing bad to say. I feel very much at ease with her because I know she's always listening. She's wise beyond her credentials, and never presumes to know what you're going through.

I have seen Elsie a few times and I found her to be very interested in helping, respectful, compassionate, and a good listener. I appreciate very much that her practice focuses on some very challenging areas of psychology. I would recommend.

My ex began seeing the therapist for his issues with rage + later we went for couples counseling. At first, she seemed supportive and helpful but it then became clear she was extremely biased. She told me that I was equally responsible and that I had to let go of my anger although it was in response to being used and raged at repeatedly. In time, he became abusive and threatened to kill me if I left. I went back to the therapist and she insisted I warn him that I would leave and berated me for being too afraid to. After a year of extreme abuse, I developed cancer and needed surgery. Only weeks after, he became so threatening I left in terror. Things were escalating but he offered to stop if I agreed to see the therapist with him. She again insisted that it was me who had to let go of my anger. She offered to go into the woods with me where I was to scream out my grievances on the condition I would never utter a word about them again. I told her she was as crazy as he was.
