I am so grateful to have had Dr. Lazare and his team perform my surgery in November 2023. I required a pelvic floor repair consisting of Uterosacral Suspension, Cystocele, Rectocele, and Enterocele Repair, and a Salpingoophorectomy. In my opinion I was in the best hands. From the first consult, through the surgery and the follow up, he took his time, explaining the procedures, and/or options, and answered my questions. He is a wonderful skilled specialist with excellent bedside manners and is very knowledgeable, professional and personable. I recovered well with no complications and have my life back. He is a highly knowledgeable and highly skilled.surgeon. He performed the right surgery for me the end of last year. I had uncertainties and why I felt so sick that night. It was the best bet this surgery. He’s a very nice doctor, after surgery, he phoned me the next day to check how I was doing, unlike other doctors and let me know he would phone in my prescriptions at the pharmacy. i was scared when the surgery dates we’re nearing. Why was I nervous, I knew I was in good hands. He gave me my life back and I feel young again. An Efficient Surgeon!

Originally with there Online Contact he was very willing to deal with me ( I guess he thought I was biologically born female ) but once I sent him my images wanting a serious external labia/vulva-plasty and told him I was a post op Transwoman originally 2019 it all changed as per usual ! He’s got the skills I believe as gynecologist surgeon for doing aesthetically female anatomy what I wanted done - Basically I was Ghosted once he new I was Transgender - it gets really tiring being refused and sh#t on because of biased hate views everything toward legit Transwomen ! BC has “0” options other than the Vancouver Gender Clinic and their skills are poor to say the least - and of course they these doctors pass the buck off to someone else to get rid of a person was my impression - it never ends , they go to school become a surgeon , get the degree and get established but the Oath they take in reality being in the medical profession means nothing as a doctor and push away legit patients looking for medical needs !

Would give a million stars to Dr. Lazare. Amazing bedside manner , skill and knowledge. Everything from the phone consult to in person and surgery. He listens to you and makes you feel comfortable and answers all questions . He explained everything perfectly . The best doctor out there for any woman experiencing gyne issues. I was referred to Dr. Lazzare by my regular OBGYN who gave me a choice of two specialists as Surrey was a distance from where I lived. When I asked her who she would go to, without any hesitation, she said Dr. Lazar, and that was good enough for me. At every visit, whether in his office or the hospital, he has always demonstrated true professionalism, compassion and kindness. He is personable, never rushes and takes the time to carefully explain procedures and options carefully. If you have a situation that requires a specialist like Dr. Lazar, I don’t believe you could find anyone better.

What an amazing clinic. We moved from down east and I was so nervous about finding a specialist. From the first contact with Kim to my actual visit with Dr Lazare and my consult with the clinic nurse Christine, it was an amazing experience. So knowledgeable and professional and I felt so at ease and cared for. My visit with Christine was unbelievable, she is so down to earth and put me at ease for a not so pleasant visit. I am truly grateful for finding these wonderful health care providers.

In my opinion, Dr. Darren Lazare is the best of the best in his field. He is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled surgeon. He treats you with respect and compassion providing you with the best information available to enable you to make an informed decision about your pelvic floor health. He has a very kind and caring bedside manner that puts you completely at ease. He answers all of your concerns and provides great followup, with attention to detail. I highly recommend his services. I was very impress with the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre in Surrey that he used for my surgery. It was extremely clean and all nursing staff and doctors I encountered were excellent. I noticed the great care and preventative measures Dr. Lazare put into making sure his patients were kept safe and free from infections by administering two different types of antibotics at the time of surgery. This is extremely important and very impressive. Thank you Dr. Lazare, may there be more doctors like you.
