Dr Ott was so kind and patient. Being 58 causes me to respond a bit slower than when I was 38. My eye exam, which is exactly what my eye appointment was. Dr Ott asked a lot of questions to be sure she had all the information needed to give me an accurate exam. And I say she's patient because I was always slow to answer #1,#2 which is clearer #1 #2. Haha somestimes I just had to hesitate and she would tell me there's no right or wrong answer. She also examined my 2 grandchildren 8 &10. As we walked out they told how much they liked her. I will recommend her to all friends and family.

Dr Ott is very professional and knowledgeable. She is a wonderful eye doc! I'd send my whole family to her.

I love Dr. Ott! She immediately made me feel comfortable and she has such a pleasant demeanor. She is very efficient and is very respectful of patients' time. I made a comment about how quickly I was called into the exam room and she even said "your time is just as important as mine and I want to make sure you are seen at your appointment time". I really appreciate that mentality! My husband saw her the following week and had the same type of experience!

I don't even know what to say. My appt with Dr. Ott was the best experience I have ever had with an eye dr! I went to her really as a 2nd opinion (I guess it was actually a 3rd opinion) b/c I saw 2 other doctors previously b/c I had problems focusing and was getting headaches. Both previous doctors gave me eyeglasses that made my headaches even worse. When I went back to the first doctor, he checked my prescription and said it was correct and I just needed to give it time to get used to. I eventually returned those glasses. Same thing happened with the 2nd doctor, but I kept the glasses. When I explained what happened to Dr. Ott she listened attentively and asked way more questions about my symptoms than the other 2 doctors combined. She started the process of finding my glasses prescription, but stopped in the middle of it and told me she can tell I need to have my eyes dilated to get an accurate prescription. She diagnosed me with latent hyperopia which sounds scary, but she explained it so well and made me feel so much better about it. The glasses I brought in were like -1 something and she said I need +2 something. Anyways, the glasses from the last 2 doctors were way off b/c they didn't find the latent hyperopia. I told her I felt crazy or like I was whining b/c no one could find anything wrong with me. She reassured me that I wasn't crazy and I had every right to complain about my vision. She told me when I first got my the new glasses she prescribed I would hate them and they would be blurry in the distance, but I should keep wearing them and they would clear up with time and all my problems would go away. She was soooooo right! I did hate them at first, but then they started getting clearer and now I don't have fluctuations in vision and im not getting headaches! She told me if I don't see her at my next exam that I need to tell the next doctor my eyes have to be dilated to find the correct prescription b/c it's hidden. She doesn't have to worry about that, bc I will definitely be going to her as long as she is an eye doctor! I've had this problem my entire life and now I don't have to suffer anymore!

I saw Dr. Ott at Stanton Optical and she was fantastic! I was really nervous b/c I never had an eye exam, but she immediately put me at ease. She's so friendly and talks to you in a way that you understand what's going on. The staff there was really great too. Very helpful!

Dr. Ott is the best eye doctor I have ever been to! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and takes the time to answer any questions you might have. I have sent my entire family to her and she was great with my 3 year old all the way to my 72 year old mother. We will be patients for life!
