I had rotor cuff surgery with Dr Pervaiz and Evan. It took and while but with physical therapy I am finally back to full functionality. Can't believe how good I feel. My shoulder feels like how it felt in my 20s. A big thank you to my physical therapists too.

I went in for a straight forward shoulder replacement surgery and my life turned up side down. I had so many complications. First I had an infection then a broken arm bone. I was referred to Dr Pervaiz by my orginial surgeon who felt that he could no longer handle all these complex issues. I am so glad he did. I needed several surgeries to fix all of these problems. All in all it took 2 years to get use of my arm back and I am finally back to doing the things I love and enjoying life and the outdoors. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Dr Pervaiz and his team.

Great experince with Dr Pervaiz and his team. He did a great job on my surgeries. I especially like that they have everyting in their office - xray, mri, therapy. You literally don't have to go anywhere. I would not hesitate to go back.

Dr. Pervaiz performed surgery on my shoulder, restoring my full rotation and range
after surgery and therapy...and another surgery for my trigger finger issue. I now have no limitations with my shoulder or right hand and life has greatly improved. I can’t thank him enough for giving me my life back!

Excellent physician. I went to see him for a broken wrist that needed surgery. He made me feel comfortable during a stressful time. The surgery was painful. I took my medicine. I followed his advise. I am recovering well. Try not to break your wrist, but if you do, go see Dr Pervaiz and his team and they will take good care of you.

Wonderful doctor and office staff. Always pleasant. He has operated on me and multiple family members for various shoulder and hand issues. He fixed both of my shoulders. The recovery was long but with physical therapy and a lot of hard work I am back to nearly 100%. I recommend them highly.

I visited Dr. Pervaiz for a broken shoulder and he was negligent. He made me spend the worst 3 days of my life in pain. I do not recommend. He doesn't care and his staff are rude

Dr. Khurram Pervaiz's response
Thank you for your feedback. We take the care of our patients as well as their pain very seriously. We use a comprehensive approach to pain management which includes judicious use of appropriate medication, physical therapy, nerve blocks, immobilization with braces and modalities such as ice and heat. Unfortunately you and I disagreed on your excessive use of narcotic medication. I explained to you that narcotics are not appropriate to be used chronically for your condition. Narcotic medication leads to addiction and has serious long term disabling side effects. It is for this reason that I wanted to transition you to non narcotic pain medication which you were not happy about.

The first time we saw you was three days after you suffered the injury to your shoulder. You were initially seen in the emergency room by the emergency room physician. Unfortunately we do not have any control over care provided in the emergency room. When we saw you, we immediately placed you into a sling to help immobilize your shoulder and to help you with pain relief. At that time we also discussed various ways to manage your pain and we also discussed minimizing the use of narcotics.

We are sorry that you felt that we did not take your pain seriously. Nothing could be further from the truth. We do care about your pain and want to make you feel better. There are other ways to improve your pain that do not involve excessive use of opioids. Please let us know if you are interested in exploring other treatment options. We wish you the best of luck. Thank you. Dr Pervaiz

Dr. Pervaiz was on time, kind and clear about what can be done as my broken finger heals. He was honest about the difficulties I might face and encouraged me to contact him if it became painful or if I had any questions. I felt he cared about my well being.
