Dr Nicolas Duval est mon médecin qui me suit depuis 8 ans pour de l’arthrose aux genoux, je n’ai que de bons commentaires à lui faire emphatique, très clair dans ses explications, très humain, passionné de son travail et malheureusement je vais le perdre car il prendra sa retraite merci pour vos bons soins et que le meilleur pour vous et votre famille.

I think I was the firs patient that had a chance to have a knee from LARS, at that time, he told me I can t promise you the time the ligament will hold, it has been 23 years, still great. thanks again, doctor Duval

My husband had a knee replacement on nov 4 2019 . Dr duval and all the team were excellent !!! I cannot say enough on how wonderful they made this terrifying experience. I was fearful as my husband has diabetes and other problems but as soon as we got there we were treated so excellently and made so comfortable. He did an excellent job on my husband there was much less pain than we had thought. What pain he had was well controlled!! It is 4 weeks now and my husband is walking and biking on his stationary bike everyday . The scar is so clean and really already disappearing in some places . One can see that it will be hardly visible . Dr duval answered every question with patience and compassion . He didn’t push for us to have the surgery with him either . He even gave us names of other doctors should we want to do it somewhere else . The place is clean and bright 24 service . This is what health care should be like . It’s not cheap but we feel it was more than worth the money . I paid a little more and actually stayed in a very large room with my husband for the full 4 days . I reccomend dr duval with all my heart !! Thank you and good luck Betty drori

My husband required a hip replacement and we decided that this clinic would be the perfect place to have it done even though we live in Toronto GTA and have access to many hospitals. We were not disappointed. From the first phone call inquiry until we departed, it was a professional but very pleasant experience. Dr. Herve David executed the anterior surgical hip replacement and followup up with his patients for 2 days after surgery. The physio assessment done before surgery and subsequent sessions until discharge were helpful and informative. All pre-op paper work and physical reviews are done by Dr. Lavoie in advance of admission. Being admitted the evening prior to surgery, the patient has time to adjust to the setting and meet the staff and surgeon. The clinic is spotless and patients are less inclined to get infections since this is NOT a hospital. The private rooms are quite adequate and the meals provided are ok.. you might want to bring some snacks! The staff are exceptional. Each person was helpful and kind. The surgery is done with an epidural, which accelerates the recovery. My husband was walking 5 hours after surgery. The extra care and physio for 2.5 days after surgery helped a lot to ally all my husband's concerns and aid with understanding what is normal or to be expected at different intervals during the healing process. It was an incredibly good experience for my husband and we highly recommend this clinic.

I just had a total hip replacement ( due to AVN) and I could not praise more this facility. The minute I walked in for a consultation, I knew I would be in good hands. Dr. Duval and Dr. Lavoie are very compassionate and walked me through the procedure. I had my hip done on July 26tyh, by Dr. Venditolli, and he is "my hero"! My scar barely shows after three weeks and the support I received from the Nurses was outstanding! This was the best decision I ever made after having been bed ridden for two months. I highly recommend this facility ...... for an outstanding recovery journey!!! I thank God every day, for having directed me to this clinic.

I had a hip replacement in September of 2016. Dr Duvall is great as are all of the staff. Worth every penny. Private room, physic after surgery. 2 yrs later I need a knee replacement and will definitely have it done at Duval

Hello, My name is Kathleen and I live in Edmonton. You are looking at this site trying to decide should I go the private route for my hip surgery. In August of 2015, I did just that, I came here. I was told by the Alberta Health care system that I was too young at 50 to have a hip replacement, I had to wait at least 5 more years. I couldn't even get on the wait list. The ball on the end of my femure crumbled off and I was in horrible pain. I decided to come here for my operation. I came by myself as my husband had to take care of my young children. I was made comfortable from the time I entered the door. Doctor Duval and Dr. Lavoie were wonderful people. They took the time to answer all my questions. You can tell they really care about your well being and what they do. All the staff were wonderful, and the food here was fantastic, nothing like hospital food, more like restaurant food. I came on a Sunday night, had the surgery MOnday morning, and the rest of the week, I had physio therapy twice a day till I left. It's been several years now since I had my right hip done and it has been just fine. Was it worth the money, very much so. It is a world class facility, extremely clean, ration of nurses to patients very low. You will be well cared for.

An amazing orthopaedic surgeon. Took the time to explain options to me and then made his recommendation. His private set up in Laval is world class. Extremely pleased I met him and had him do my knee replacement.
