Dr Amanda Chiu saved my mother’s life in 2016 and continues annual check ups with her. My mother is now 94. Dr Chiu is one of the most caring and knowledgeable women that I have ever met. I am eternally grateful for her care and concern. I wonder if other reviews are for the same person as there is absolutely nothing negative that I could ever write about Dr Chiu and her team.

Rude and condescending with no empathy or regard for patients or even staff members.

Doctor Chiu looked after our mother who suffered from pneumonia . She did take the time to update us her progress . She was kind in her approach to our mother and visited her at hospital even late in the evenings . We are very grateful to have her as our mother’s treating physician.

Unfortunately, we had no information on Dr Chiu when our elderly mother was recently admitted to a private hospital.
Dr Chiu, showed absolutely no empathy, sympathy, or consideration towards family members, in making the biggest decision in our mum's care. The only response we received was " I told you so"
In these times of sadness, guilt, and grief, family members need to trust and feel comfortable communicating with the loved ones' main caregiver, in this case, Dr Chiu
Thankfully, mum is now under an amazing team, who work in collaboration and respect us as Mum's advocates

This doctor should not be caring for elderly and vulnersble patients. She has zero communication skills and ignores facts and details of a patient's condition and symptons. Her treatment approach is ineffective. She is bombastic in her tone. Do not subject any elderly person to this doctor for their health care.

Dr Chiu has been excellent looking after my mother. Patient, understanding, insightful. Could not have been happier with the care she has provided. She has been magnificent.
