he brings up dumb politically correct platitudes sometimes, like "we're burning the planet" and his beliefs about the nature of covid and the utility of dirty cheep cloth masks were ill-informed. He reads a lot of mainstream fake news and doesn't realize the degree to which it's fake---though that is extremely common for his age demographic. frequently does not respond to emails, especially if it looks like you're not going to pay him anymore for his ineffective neurological-feedback junk method. thinks 'muse'-device works--and it doesn't. possibly could be helpful as a talk-therapist ---but I did not use that service with him.

Well, I paid 600$ for an evaluation for which I never received the report. I tried to contact mr Dupont, total silence.

I saw Dr. Dupont many years ago. At the time I didn't know much about psychotherapy, or what I should expect, only that I needed help working through what I now know to be OCD. Seeing Dr. Dupont was a terrible waste of my time. I believe he actually made my OCD worse. His approach was very damaging and completely went against evidenced-based practices. He suggested things like that I should try buying new glasses to break out of my obsessive thinking (?!). It wasn't until I found a psychologist who specializes in OCD and cognitive-behaviour therapy that I was able to make significant progress. At least he was on time and professional...
