Had a phenomenal experience with this Doctor. He is kind and compassionate and you can truly see that he cares about his patients. I had a very scary inner ear problem and he followed up on my referral immediately and contacted me with the results as soon as he received them. I couldn’t be happier with my experience.

First of all if I could rate Doctor Shoman,i would rate him 10 out of 10.He has to be the most friendliest doctor that Ive ever met and I am A former Employee At Horizon Health Hospital in Miramichi NB for 43 years.Dr.Shoman performed a reconstruction of my left ear At The Bathurst Chaleur Hosptial on Jan 22,2024 just recently where he removed a badly infected cysts.,replaced ear drum,new bone and some thing else in inner ear.He's very professional at his job,he explained what he was going to do excellent,after surgery he had checked on me and shook my hand after wards. His office also phoned to and asked me to send photos to him so he can take a look at my surgery and to see how its healing and Emily Paquet You are also a great employee who goes way beyond your job to show people how much you and Dr.Shoman Care ,So I also say a BIG THANK YOU for going out of your way and getting me in contact with Dr.Shoman And today he phoned me home to see how I was feeling after having surgery.This doctor is a VERY SMART gentleman and is a huge asset for his employer and his government,and they are very fortunate to have him on their team.Thank You So Much for your expertise,i'm Very Well Pleased with the surgery that you have done ,and I Highly Recommend you to any one,Thanks Again,Peter Malley ,Miramichi NB

Great respect for Dr Shoman. I wasn't sure what to expect when I was first referred to him. I have been dealing with ear problems all my life and have seen many ear doctors but continue to have ongoing infections. Dr Shoman operated on my ear to rebuild my mastoid cavity. It's been a year and I have had no infections and no pain. It's the first time that I can actually even consider a hearing aid in this ear. I am very happy with how the whole experience has been.

This doctor is brilliant. I have been a patient of his since 2018. He is patient, knowledgable, and never dismissive. He has improved my quality of life by implanting a bone bridge. He is also amazing to watch with the med students.

I had surgery with Shoman to fix my inner ear. It turned out I also had a brain herniation in my middle ear sitting on my tiny middle ear bones which he fixed as well since it was likely causing some of my symptoms not attributable to my scds. He resolved most of my symptoms, improving my balance and hearing issues. Still some headache issues but currently manageable with avoidance of triggers. Minimal hearing loss from surgery which was wonderful considering all the complex work he did in there. My scar is almost invisible, hidden along the curve where my ear connects with my head and you can't even tell I had a cartilage graft harvested from my lobe. He's a lifesaver and artist with his scalpel. And his secretary Emily is so helpful and kind. Long waits at appointments but no big deal. Bring a good book. He does talk fast.

I had the best experience with Dr Shoman. Top of his field, smart, caring, and talented doctor. He figured my diagnosis after two years of others telling me they don't know what is wrong with me. I know how busy he is but I never felt rushed. I am better because of this doctor. I know what it is like to be sick, and so I am so grateful to this brilliant man.

Was personally told by this Dr to call if I had further problems with my tinnitus and he would fit me in , not only have I had further problems it has become completely debilitating , the fluid is so bad that most days I feel my ear drums are going to burst . They ache and have so much pressure that I no longer can function or rest . Knowing that people have committed suicide over this debilitating disease and knowing I can no longer function or sleep with the pain , pressure and loud screeching back and forth in my ears day and night I would love to see how he might function , even for a day , let alone a couple years . Thanks for your compassion ! Hopefully someone shows you more than what you’ve shown me .
