I had a bunion op with Mr Nandlal sept22. He advised me to wear my own footwear (trainer) after 2 wks post op and not the surgical shoe. I was in excruciating pain but he insisted. At week 4, my foot felt like it was going to explode. I felt his instructions were negligent. My swollen foot in my own trainer and not a surgical shoe was ridiculous! Sought a second opinion with an orthopaedic surgeon and had revision surgery. Now at least another 8 weeks for recovery! I would NOT recommend Mr Nandlal and I wish I trusted my instincts from my first appointment where I found him to be dismissive. Have never been through such pain, distress and suffering!
