I underwent emergency ulcer surgery at Southlake Hospital on Sunday night, and I must commend Dr. D for her exceptional surgical expertise. Prior to the procedure, she meticulously explained the intricacies and potential risks, going as far as providing a detailed diagram for better understanding. The surgery itself was executed with precision, and I am incredibly grateful for Dr. D's kindness and compassion throughout the process.
Moreover, I must extend my appreciation to the nursing and support staff at the hospital, whose professionalism and dedication contributed to my positive experience. Overall, I am impressed by the high standard of care and skill demonstrated by the entire team at Southlake Hospital.

I had a lumpectomy surgery 3 weeks ago with Dr. Delisiasi and she was fantastic. She and her team at South lake hospital did a great job for me. She is a very professional, compassionate , and supportive person with her patients. Her explanations about the procedure of the surgery was phenomenal. I went to see Dr Deliallsi as I had 5 umbilical hernias. The first time I saw her she had no interest in helping me. Told me I was too fat for surgery. Which I wasn’t btw … I went back to her the second time to try and see her again as I was in horrible pain. I was terribly sick with my stomach being as it was. I was positively green. This visit I cried thru the entire appointment and kept saying I needed help. That something was seriously wrong. She blew me off again. Told me I was too fat. Didn’t examine me at all. She didn’t care. I went from her office to emergency and I was in lung and kidney failure. I had surgery to correct my kidney the next day. I then ended up at markham Stouffville for my 5 hernias. My navel had become necrotic and fell out. I had previous hernia surgery. The mesh I had previously placed in my stomach for another hernia adhered to my bowel and after losing my navel they had to open me up and two surgeons had to work together to repair the 5 hernias fix the mesh and close me. I was in terrible health and needed IV antibiotics to get my infection under control… I’m so taken back that her distaste for my weight kept her from being willing to help me. Btw I wear size 10

She was a kind and compassionate , when I had my lympectomy. Although my tumor was benign, it was huge and fast growing and needed to be taken out. Now if I could find out if reconstruction is covered by OHIP??

Dr. Deliallisi is extremely knowledgeable and kind. She cares about her patients and explains treatment thoroughly to make us feel more involved. She barely left a scar and I had relatively no pain after the procedure! She even took the time to check on me after a couple of weeks to see how I was doing. I have seen many doctors and she is clearly one of the best. She is a fantastic surgeon. Highly recommend.

Poor bedside care. Husband has colon cancer she did his colonscopy she was explaining his diagnosis to him and myself with no privacy. I asked her a question concerning previous scope and she got very rude. Contradicted herself too.
