My 84 year old friend was referred to Dr Vantre so she called and set an appointment. She asked if she could register online to save time and the receptionist said they didn't have that capability. She also asked for directions and the staff member said they were right across from the hospital. When she went for her 10am appointment it wasn't across from the hospitality was behind the hospital so she arrived at 9:50 and was told there wasn't enough time to register her so she'd have to reschedule! Really? The voicemail appointment reminder said to arrive by 9:45 to allow time to register so technically she was 5 minutes late. She also overheard a lady waiting for her mother to arrive from a nursing facility nearby that hadn't arrived so the lady was going to walk over and get her, she would be late as well, why couldn't they take my friend since the other appointment was going to be delayed.? Whoever this receptionist is had 0 compassion or professionalism. My friend deserves an apology! Not sure if the Dr.even knew about this

Dr. Vantre appears to be a competent podiatrist, however, his office front desk receptionist is rude and condescending so will not return there. There are other professionals who are as good who make sure their staff treat their patients respectfully.
