I couldn't disagree more with the poor rating from the other patient. I never felt that Dr. Shane "took a side." To the contrary, he was at times compassionate and at other times stern with each spouse. We never had substance abuse or infidelity in our marriage but we were very much broken for almost a decade. Our marriage is renewed. I don't think we could have achieved this with any other therapist and we certainly tried.

Not neutral in couples' therapy. Sides with male to make them feel comfortable. Only deals with surface issues instead of underlying issues and causes. Does not handle drugs and alcoholism issues which was the elephant in the room. No staff to rate. Does not take insurance.
