worst experience ever which a doctor.... no compassion... no welcome .... if you do not do it her way that is it you out...like she said .. don't come to see me .
wonder how she got to be a doctor... may be in Punjab the level of education is not as high... She really seems to be in an other world, should not be in practice as she is a disgrace to patients. Please go see another person...a real knowledgeable doctor.

Never actually got my appointment. She canceled on me twice made me reschedule only to send me an email two months after and one month until my next and first official appointment that she is terminating our contract. She seems F**ked and not someone I will be dealing with. I’m in great health and have no issues thankfully so will be returning to my old doctor if possible without hassle or finding a new one. She is a joke and a disgrace to patient care. FIND ANYONE ELSE

I was referred to Dr. Salam during the pandemic. Over the phone she was to the point. No personality. No engagement. Matter of fact. I thought ok, that's fine, it is over the phone and we are all in a world crisis trying to live normally. Then she made an error in my file, telling me things that I knew did not pertain to me. When I explained this, she realized she had the wrong file and made mw ait while her staff got the correct file. Another time, she had the correct file, and increased the wrong medication. I didn't know this until the pharmacy caught the error and only determined it was incorrect because the amount for that particular medication would do more harm than good. When they called I explained she increased another type, and not the one they were calling about. They faxed her office to get it corrected but had it not been a harmful dose, no one would have been the wiser! When we switched finally to in person the doctor's demeanor was worse rather than better. She doesn't may eye contact. She doesn't offer a greeting. You sit in the chair and she reads your medical results from a screen and in medical terms. When you ask what those mean, she seems exasperated. She presents as rude, curt, cold, and short, and this has never changed. I had already expressed to my family doctor that I didn't feel cared for with this specialist. She asked me to give it time. This doctor does not discuss health education, nor does she offer any tips on how to do better. She doesn't check other things related to diabetes, like my feet or sores in my skin like my family doctor did. I kept trying by attending appointments (although I rescheduled lots because of her attitude) and last week when I was 5 mins late, she instructed her staff to make me wait for a gap in appointments. I said this is my appointment. I am 5 mins delayed, yes, but this is my appointment time. In the time it took for her staff to ask if I could still come in, and for her to tell her staff to make me wait (totally punitive) I could have been seen as she only spends 5 mins with you anyway! If you are looking for a cold, unfeeling, uncaring, callous doctor who won't make eye contact or talk to you about your health, this is the one!

WORST!!! Every time I had appointment with her she's not the one who saw me but the assistant. As pandemic came, we shifted into phone consult and all this doctor said is I have to increase the dose of my insulin injection and prescribed me with another medications on top of what I've already been taking. This doctor doesn't even listen to her patient's symptom complaints at all and only pushes for another medications.

Ive been seeing this Dr for years. she is very direct but this is not a bad thing as diabetes patients tend to not listen to sound advise on how to lower blood sugars. i found her very pleasant and helpful

I've been seeing this doctor for over a decade and can not recommend it to anyone. The rest of the team is very nice and helpful so I only have to see her every 3 months to get the requisition for me next a1c. Patronizing, difficult to reach, and seemingly Unwilling to help. I've asked 3 times for a snap change to a prescription and every time we have the same conversation where I have to convince her of the reason for this small reasonable chance and she says it will be updated only to serve the exact same prescription to the pharmacy. I'm only at the clinic because the nurses and dieticians are great.

See her once a year for my thyroid. Staff are on the stunned/entitled side. She is always friendly to me and listened to my complaints about her staff.
