Just had our little bub at the San in Wahroonga. Dr Ginsberg came to our room for a routine visit, baby was sleeping and so was I, hence I wasn’t coordinating my words much, I didn’t care that he didn’t seem very friendly. However things turned sour when he questioned our decision not to opt for the vitamin K shot. He said “I don’t know who you are listening but this is a vitamin, is it that you don’t believe in vitamins”. To which I’ve responded well I’ve read the ingredients and I’m actually quite concerned with the preservatives in it, can you talk to me more about this? He said he will give the ingredients list from the packaging to the midwives but there’s no time to supply this later on if there’s risk of bleeding. However, I know for a fact my son is not considered within the risk group and all babies are naturally born with vitamin k cause their biliary and pancreas systems are not yet developed AND they get protection against bleeding from the colostrum and stem cells passed on through the chord, which is why we delayed clamping. Also, he didn’t care to explain what checks he performed.

The most amazing doctor! He really took the time to listen and get to know my son. He made both of us feel really comfortable and gave some good solid advice. He had all the time in the world once we were in his rooms and I felt like my son could not have been in better hands. The only downfall is that I had to wait 6 months for an appointment, but I would have waited even longer just to see him, he really is amazing.

I had a very bad experience. My son has ADHD. Dr Ginsberg gave up on us after 1 attempt on the medication which was an overdose. My poor son was up 3 days straight. The doctor never replied to my concerns. After paying over$400 I would expect a better service.

Our youngest required Special Care after being born with respiratory distress and has since been diagnosed with reflux and Laryngomalacia.
Dr Ginsberg is attentive and never rushes you out the door. His manner is relaxed and with a sense of humour where necessary but obvious knowledge and experience to quickly resolve issues.
So fortunate to have him as our doctor.
My amazing OB sings his praises too which is more than enough for me.

Neil has been our pediatrician for almost 12 years. He always takes the time to listen at concerns I have with my sons ADHD/Aspergers, he explains why we may need to change meds. He has helped ease my anxiety over putting my child on meds. He takes time to get to know my son, and remembers things my son has told him in the past. We always leave his office feeling confident in decisions we have made together. If anyone ever talks about needing a Pediatrician I always recommend Neil.

I am really furious. With my little girl's vomiting we've seem couple of times. He kept saying that she was just a "happy vomiter " and it will go away. It took us almost a year to get to the bottom of it after seeing another pediatrician, ENT and gastroenterologist. With endoscopy and biopsy my little girl was diagnosed with EOE (eosinophilic esophagitis) and we just started treatment. Dr Ginsberg couldn't be bothered listening to us and looking into our problems. I would never recommend him to anyone!!!
