Dr Sue Valmadre changed my life.. her staff are incredibly helpful and she was honest and forthright which I appreciate.

I had my surgery within a few days of seeing her and somehow she managed to remove a uterus that was 8 times the size it should have been.
She diagnosed ademyosis quickly and many have never heard of this area condition.

Surgery was so neat and tidy! No scars at all now, 2 years later.
The tip for me was when a nurse at the hospital said all the nurses and doctors see her. She is worth every cent! Thank you Dr Valmadre.

Dr Valmadre was recommended to me by another gynecologist who expressed that Dr Valmadre would be the very best doctor to deal with my medical condition which ultimately required a total hysterectomy.
Dr Valmadre made me feel instantly comfortable and feeling that 'l was in the right hands'. After thorough check-ups, Dr Valmadre recommended a certain procedure prior to which she recommended a further CT scan, cardiologist's tests and other tests to ensure l was medically fit to undergo the necessary procedures. Though out my entire stay at the Mater, Dr Valmadre was encouraging, friendly and highly professional. My experience was such that l have recommended Dr Sue Valmadre to my four adult daughters, should they ever be in need of a most competent, caring and approachable person.

Before you let dr Valmadre do surgery on you get another opinion I had a prolapse went to dr Valmadre she said I needed a hysterectomy only way to fix it had the surgery The day I came home still felt like I had a prolapse 4 weeks later I went back to her said I still had stitches and swollen 4mths later went back as it felt it was getting worst she said it looked like before when I insisted it felt something was falling out was then told I had a slight prolapse at top of vagina but should not be bothering me she would refer me to another dr i didn’t need to go back to her I found another gynaecologist myself 4weeks later was told I had a bowl prolapse I didn’t need a hysterectomy to fix that I found her to be uncaring and cold didn’t care how afraid or anxious I was if I could I would give zero rating

An amazing doctor and surgeon. Easy to talk to, she knows how to communicate and gives top level care through her compassion and empathy. I am so glad she was recommended to me for a total hysterectomy. It really was a non-event. I've spent a lot of time in hospital over the years, and Sue stands out as above and beyond.
