My daughter was unexpectedly coherent for her wisdom teeth removal and able to recall details of the unpleasant event. Please dont make the same mistake we did from our lack of dental sedation knowledge. Dr Collins is limited to the amount of sedation he is qualified to administer. The limitations in his scope of practise provided a negative experience for our daughter. I am confident if we were aware of the potential she may be coherent for this procedure, we would have seeked an alternative dentist to ensure her anesthetic needs were met. This is not an isolated event. Please see reviews on other media platforms.

Horrible service - Cost was double the original quote for services. They cut my daughters ortho bars in pieces costing us an addition $400 out of pocket on top of their services. They advertise IV sedation but don't tell you that it is only partial sedation that you are actually still alert for the entire procedure. My daughter still has bite issues. They messed up our coordination of benefits and took almost 3 months to straighten out billing after I had to continuously phone the office each week. Their costs were so high that our benefits maxed out we are out of packet $1900.00!!! We do NOT recommend this practice. There are so many better places to go in the Orillia area.

Wanted $2600 for a root canal. The average price of my previous 4 elsewhere was $1200. Why $2600? I had oral surgery earlier this year (elsewhere) with a dental implant which cost $3000 ... so i dont understand why he charges practically the same for a far less invasive procedure. Didnt seem interested in negotiating or coming down in price at all. Lived with crazy pain for 7 days until I could see my family dentist. Canada Day long weekend is not the time to need an emergency root canal. Also he wanted to give me a cat scan after he already took other xrays... never had that from anyone either. Doesnt seem like he is there to help, but rather there to do the job if you are willing to pay; banking on your pain.

Had a botched filling done at his office by a visiting dentist and had severe problems thereafter. Never took responsibility and had to sue him. The worst experience ever and never went back to him. All about money and greed!

RED FLAG, VERY DISAPPOINTED, THEY WANT WHAT THEY WANT NOT WHAT I WANT. I FOUND THAT DR. COLLINS IS VERY ARROGANT, SMART MOUTH AND CHARGES WAY TO MUCH, ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY NOT YOU. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM AT ALL.

Great experience, Dr. Collins is a fantastic dentist, he did a lot of extensive dentistry on my mouth and I have nothing but positive things to say about him and his staff. You get what you pay for my friends. He is experienced and knowledgeable and I trust his judgement. If you want top of the line dentistry...it requires top of the line equipment which may be a little more expensive than your regular drill and fill dentist. I would recommend Dr. Collins to any friend or family member with out a doubt.

Very sad when dentists are only out for the money and they charge over the current fee guides what makes him think he is worth more than any other dentist!!!Almost every dentist stays within the fee guide whats wrong with him ? Does he think the public is dumb!He is very aggressive with x-rays a head x-ray is not needed for almost all dental work its all for money. He put a bad name on dentists , never would I go back to someone just out for the money. I thought when you graduate you are supposed to be out to help the public not gouge the public . Who knows what he is like as a dentist as a patient you can not judge his work !!!All about the $$$$$$ He needs to wake up the name of the game is to keep patients not to loose them!!! I think he is going the wrong way. Very arrogant! Anyone that knows anything about dentistry or been in the field would not return back to this office!

I had a terrible experience at WestRidge dental. They tried to get me to sign a document right off the bat that said I would pay whatever they decide to bill me without question. Kept aggressively phoning me to come back, but never addressed the issue. Looks like a family place, but is all about the money.
