This doctor misdiagnosed my condition on three separate occasions and gave me wrong. He initially assumed my condition without conducting any checks. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism considering his position and high reviews.

An incredible doctor and human being who will do his best where others have failed.
Totally solved my medical issues, then my wife's frozen shoulder and finally my daughter's complicated arm fractures. I have never experienced a better care in my 77 years in several different countries.

Spent a bit of time researching for a doctor that suited my requirements: torn or worn shoulder ligaments with almost no range of motion and a desire for non-surgical treatment. Dr Alvi is awesome. He is humble and very friendly, yet a PhD engineer, MD, orthopedic specialist, top researcher for PhD medical students, renowned lecturer, etc. Yet he took the time to explain every aspect of my injury and treatment. Through advanced laser and nSTRIDE injection techniques, he cured my nearly frozen shoulder in 2 sessions. Now have 100% range of movement and no pain, so 100% recovery and back to normal. Toronto is lucky to have him, lest we lose him to the US! Highly recommend.

Dr Alvi is an amazing doctor. I saw him about four years ago with severe shoulder pain (I was told I need a complete shoulder replacement by two other orthopaedic surgeons) and Dr Alvi looked at my x rays and MRI and agreed that I had severe arthritis and a Labral tear but because I had good range of motion and I’m very active he said he wouldn’t recommend a replacement because it would limit my ability to do the sports I love ( and my job as a Firefighter). Dr Alvi took the time to diagnose my shoulder issues and gave me several none surgical options to alleviate my pain. I went home to process what he had recommended and came back a month or so later to have an injection into my shoulder which he promised would give me relief and it did and I have been able to function more or less pain free for several years. He is very meticulous in his diagnoses and treatment and takes the upmost care to make sure to listens to his patients. He is the nicest doctor I’ve ever dealt with and he really seems to care about making you feel better. I have also recommended him to one of my colleagues with a chronic shoulder issue who also got relief from one visit with Dr Alvi. I highly recommend Dr Alvi!

Dr M. Alvi is a friendly and great doctor. He is very professional and took care of my dad like his own father. My dad was in knee pain for more than 4 months and we called numerous places to book appointment with a Orthopaedic surgeon, however the waiting time was more than 6 month. We couldn't see our dad going through the pain everyday. We are so glad Dr. Alvi works at this clinic to see patients. Very knowledgeable doctor and understood my elderly dad's situation that he was going through. He decided to drain knee fluid during our first visit since he understood the sleepless nights that my dad was going through. I highly recommend him to everyone. Also, his administration staff is very helpful and professional.

This was my first visit to Dr. Alvi, and he took his time and patiently asked a lot of thoughtful and detailed questions about my lifestyle and so forth before offering me a number of options and sensible recommendations on treatment for my painful arthritic ankle and knee--as well as what procedures to avoid because they don't work or could make things worse. I came away much better informed and feel hopeful that things will improve over time. I will be returning for follow-up treatment.

Best health care experience of my 57 years!!

The whole group is exceptional. Knowledgeable, Empathetic, Patient with their patient, but the best thing is they provided hope and options!! Highly recommended
