I have been a patient of Dr. Bonuel's for many years and her care has gotten very bad. When I didn't have any health problems she was okay but as I have gotten older and have some significant health problems she is not good as far as getting referrals to specialists and etc. Her staff is okay and when I need to talk to them I personally go into the office and do not call on the phone. She needs to be pushed all the time about getting referrals, X-rays, MRIs and etc. it's like I am handling my own medical problems. I went to Humana recently and complained to them about her and said that I want to change primary physicians and they gave me the name of a different one and I have an appointment set up with that new physician. Also, Humana is trying to stretch out routine appointments to 4 months instead of 3 months so beware of that!

Why hasn't Health Care Partners terminated this Physican?! All her reviews except for a couple have given her a one star rating and that's what I am doing right now. She is scattered in thought process. She appears always in a rush. She will only address the immediate problem. Forget about any other questions! She has done me wrong on several occasions like holding blood results from me and ordering an MRI on the wrong leg! She doesn't t listen to you and you are rushed out of the room. I don t know how office staff can stay working with her with all the complaints and problems this "Doctor" creates. Please HCP.....let her go. She is a detriment to your philosophy of good health care. Signed by an observing and spouse of a patient RN

Seems that I can't get Dr. Bonuel to even listen to my problems or answer my questions. She is always in a rush. When her assistant interviews me before Dr. Bonuel comes in and I am telling her my symptoms, she tells me that Dr. Bonuel can only address one or two problems - she doesn't have time to listen to anything else. I have asked for a referral to a specialist since she does not know how to handle the problem, but she refuses to do so. I have actually left the office crying on more than one occasion. I have been told by other doctors that she has referred me to that it did not seem she knew what she was doing and to get another doctor. Trying to find one closer to me. The check in staff is very friendly and competent. I have no problems with the staff -- only Dr. Bonuel. She sees me for about 5 minutes after waiting for over an hour. I know corporate only allows about 15 min for patients, I don't even get that. Must say that referrals have been fast for me, usually within 2 days.

She has taken care of my wife and I for several years ,,, She spends adequate time with us and is thorough in her exams and referrals. Always recommends more economical cures. Does not shy away from herbal or OTC medications as an option. Always pleasant to deal with.

Unprofessional miserable doctor. Does not seem to want to listen or be there. Nasty attitude. Very inconsistent regarding diagnosis, and test results. Has her assistant lie for her constantly to maneuver to get what she wants; but is never available to give you referrals or to refill your medications. On one occasion I waited for over 10 days for a refill of Prilosec (90 capsules), and she filled it for 10 capsules. Only interested in setting you up for costly unnecessary test, and procedures.

Dr. Bonuel has continued to disappoint me. When you need to see her expect to wait at least 2-3 months. Once you get in, you better not be five minutes late, because they make no concessions and will make you reschedule 2-3 months later. When I moved here from out of state the office told me that I needed all of my records transferred to her from my specialists. I did that, but then when I needed a referral to get to the specialist she would not issue one over the phone. Instead, she made me schedule another appointment (waiting 2-3 months) when I was having medical complications. This forced me to go to urgent care where they told me my primary doctor should have issued the referral over the phone given the fact that I transferred my records to their office from my previous specialist. In addition, her bedside manner is awful. I gave Dr. Bonuel a fair chance because I respect the profession, however I do not respect Dr. Bonuel.

This doctor is terrible, I was a repeate patient and had to see the doctor and they said no, she was booked and was taking the next day off, what a doctor, she does NOT CARE about her patients and her office hours are ridiculous. last apt of day is 2:00 pm very unfriendly to those who work. And she is chronically late, watied over 45 mintues each time for a SCHEDULED appointment, don't waste your time, get a better doctor, there are too many in this city to settle for doctors who ignore their patients and put their own vacation first.

First off this dr. makes you wait 45-1hr after your appointment time. Then second speaks down to you like you do not understand whats going on with your body. Thirdly she makes you wait 2 months to see her, for anything. Every time I have called to make an appointment for an issue, she referred me to urgent care, even for a check up! That's right a CHECK UP... This Doctor is the least helpful doctor I have ever met. It's your funeral if you go with her.
