Most horrific experience in my whole adult life. He was a savage. He was rough and rude. He yanked my glasses off my face. He missed a piece of my tooth and his tech had to tell him. He was so rough, I could feel him pulling the tooth it hurt so bad. I tried to tell him but he continued. I literally felt like I had been attacked. I have severe anxiety- Do not use him if you suffer any anxieties or fears of dentists. I didn’t even receive a call to see how I was. A nightmare experience. A sidebar- he accused me of breaking his chair and also told me I wouldn’t be there had I taken care of my teeth. Run don’t walk away from his office!

Wish I had NEVER been to Dr. Burns! Messed up the roof of my mouth! Did NOT finish surgery. Charged full price. Very rude & uncaring.

Dr. Burns performed a tooth extraction and graft for me yesterday. His office was prompt and courteous in dealing with me. The doctor clearly explained what he intended to do, completely answered my questions, and performed the procedure exactly as explained. My extraction wasn’t particularly comfortable but it was painless. The doctor continually talked to me as he extracted the tooth and subsequently performed a graft -- ensuring that I was okay and explaining what he was doing. I strongly recommend his services.

My 12-year old had four teeth extracted yesterday and experienced just minimal discomfort after the procedure and no pain today. Dr. Burns was thorough, professional, and kind. His staff is fantastic. Hannah up front was particularly helpful.

I chose him because of all of the recommendationsame but I could quickly tell you either love him or hate him. I was very nervous at my consultation and he made me feel rushed and stupid to ask any questions so I didn't. Then when I went in for my procedure he was very quick to get it started. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed under general anesthesia. When I woke and we were getting ready to leave he spoke about me to my fiance as if I wasn't there or because I was too "messed up" he once again made me feel stupid. I went back for a follow up 5 days later as I was having some pain. He walked in and said it's dry socket without even looking at it. Put the medicine and and tried to walk out. I said can you look at the rest and make sure they're doing ok and he pretended to do so. He then turned to my fiance and asked him if he had any questions, I guess because I'm too stupid for him to talk to. I chose him knowing his bedside manner but thought if he's good at what he does who cares about that but now I'm even questioning that.

I have a great fear of dentists and he put me completely at ease. He answered all of my questions and was very considerate of my needs. He was done in less than five minutes and I can honestly say I have never hugged s dentist but I would trust him explicitly. His staff is fantastic and caring and I will never go to anyone but him. He actually helped me relieve some of my fears. I can't say enough good things about him and I am more than grateful for everything he did for me. I can honestly say if I have to use him again I won't be as fearful. I can't say thank you enough. You are truly a wonderful man and the best, most experienced and wonderful dentist I have been to. The entire staff is magnificent.

I agree with all negative comments. I will never go back there again. I am in great pain still and four of my teeth were loosened during an extraction. Felt like a dollar sign in the chair, wham bam get out man! Im traumatised from my experience.

I have been to Dr. Burns before with a great result about four years ago. Also had relatives he has treated with good results. This visit seemed different. They were 45 minutes late in seeing me. Everything was very rushed. Staff people seemed pressed for time. I am not looking for a social experience but this was almost robotic. The emphasis was all on getting things done as quickly as possible. I have never had a procedure where the surgeon did not ask me before he began how I was feeling and if I was numb. You are handed a plastic bag with prescriptions and a couple of pages of instructions with your receipt. No discussion of after procedures care. Dr. Burns is a very good surgeon and I will probably return to him if I need other work. You just have to be prepared for the "patient mill" if they are rushed and the non personal approach.
