Super rude. Drove 3 hrs for this appt. We arrived at her clinic exactly on time. My phone rang and it was her being super abrasive asking if she needed to reschedule me. Bad vibes right from the start.
Her medical evidence was laughed at by my family doctor. Holding basically a scientology e-meter to diagnosis health concerns is delusional. But my cousin had recommended this doctor to me and we had driven 3 hrs, so I bit my tongue and ended up buying like $200 worth of supplements.

The Syntol AMD supplements made me projectile vomit. As someone who came in with nausea and vertigo, she should’t have given me something that would make me vomit for hours. Save your $ as she is a b*tchy quack just shilling overpriced supplements. I never went back as she was obnoxious, condescending and rude.

My experience here was, for me, a game changer. I have been suffering from multiple GI issues over the last 15 years. Dr Risk investigated my symptoms and went after a parasite, and placed me on a supplement program. While my GI issues are not completely gone, I have made drastic improvements. Life changing. I continue to see her once a month. She has been thorough, professional and effective.

Whether or not she has doctor as a title, she is not someone I will ever trust or go back to. She is rude and abrupt and sells her "knowledge" as help, when it really comes down to making her money, from testing to supplements. She has no interest in actually helping people and her intent is extreme.
I had seen her for fatigue and she ended up diagnosing me with a parasite, from testing me with her "meridian machine", for which she prescribed Black Walnut; however she did not describe the side effects that may occur with this. Before long, my hair started falling out and over 10 years later, it's never fully recovered. I also took my daughter to see her before all this had happened to me. Risk was convinced she could cure, not desensitize, her from her peanut allergy. Without ever offering a realistic approach or real knowledge and training, at one point, after I began to get skeptical about her practises, she actually asked me, "A mother should want to help her daughter, don't you want to make her better"? Unbelievable. That's when I called it quits! She knew me a from a couple of visits. How could she assume to know me or know me as a mom. We were just being fed anything that could keep her in business, nothing that was truly helping us. Follow her by her name and don't go see her...she is a true "Risk" for your health.
At this time I saw her, she had a practise on her own, so no other staff to rate, other than her husband who I never had contact with.

She is not a doctor. She is a quack and her methods are not evidence based. Foot baths? Supplements? A meridian testing machine? Electrical impedance can give a rough estimate of body fat percentage but that’s it. Pretending it can tell you about the state of your health is delusional. Go to a doctor and save your money. I’m shocked this isn’t illegal.

Scam artist. Very rude. Very disorganized. I have never felt so uncomfortable around someone. Telling me basically I have food issues and I need mental health help because I was finding it hard to cut out sugar...

If you are diagnosed with Lyme disease, do your due diligence with treatment. Lyme is a very complex disease to treat and her recommended method is extremely expensive. Also, ensure you get a Lyme test that THOROUGHLY diagnoses each and every Co-Infection besides Lyme. Her test and diagnosis to say, if you have one co-infection, I treat them all, is because she assumes you are going to ultimately see her for treatment. Lyme testing is expensive and Lyme does hide well in the body, but there are methods to bring the bacteria out of hiding BEFORE the test so you can possibly see better results. I don't doubt her knowledge with Lyme as she had it and cured herself, however her methods presented to you for testing and treatment leave lot to be desired.

Dr. Risk is the most on time doctor I have ever been to! She has never been late with any of my appointments, she always takes the time to make sure all my questions are answered when leaving the clinic. She ensures her front end staff know exactly what each patient needs and the staff go above and beyond much like Dr.Risk. This is the clinic you want to go to and the Dr you want to see for anything big or small.

Dr. Risk is one of the most caring Chinese Medicine doctor's I have ever met. She is always on time, I have never had to wait for her which is nice as it makes you feel like she truly values you as a patient. She is able to diagnose things that most western medicine practitioners could not. Her staff is well trained and take pride in their work. They go above and beyond when it comes to making sure you have everything you need. I will strongly recommend this practice to anyone with any health concerns.

I have been seeing Dr. Risk on and off for 7 years now. I find her very professional and she really knows what she is talking about. I found out I was lactose intolerant with a lot of gut issues and was treated for a parasite the first time I had seen her. My friend had recommended me to see her when I was just not getting any help from my regular family doctor and was just feeling always exhausted. I do highly recommend her and will continue to see her.
