He has been my GI for about 6yrs. Not very impressed with him lately. He was great at the begining. Had my Ulcerative Colitis dianosed within a week of me first reporting symptoms at the QHC. Things were good until I stopped responding to most of the lower meds.I asked for surgery and he kept pushing stronger meds. Put me on Remicade, which I had a reaction to and rejected. I them got so sick within a month droping from 140 lbs - 114lbs. I was rushed to emerg. I was deemed to high risk for surgery at that point. They were going to send my home with PTN and home care until I got strong enough. The day I was to leave I started to hemorrhage. Was rushed into emergency surgery. Had complications. Woke up in ICU and spent a total of 2 months in hospital. The last time I saw Dr. Kitchian, he walked into my ICU room looked at me and said I am sorry! Acknowledge that I would have been better off he had just listened to me and booked the surgery when I asked for it. Referal- undecided
