Very efficient and knowledgeable. Waiting time is long but that may be due to the high demand to see this doctor.

Staff were great - wouldn't know about the Doctor, as I left before I saw him. A 2 1/2 hr wait to see him was unacceptable - will find another Doctor. Passed him in the hallway said I was leaving - he didn't seem to care, just said "sorry"

Dr. Bujak was wonderful to my mom. She had a very dense cataract in her right eye, and he performed an almost 2 hour surgery to remove the cataract. It was a complicated surgery but he did an outstanding job. Very skilled surgeon. I read over the negative reviews as I couldn't believe the bad ratings. It seems most people are complaining about long wait times and cancellations, which I think is ridiculous. He is a specialist, and of course there is going to be wait times for a good doctor. I don't know where all these divas came from (I'm sorry if I offended anyone). Yes, my mom once waited 3 hours to see him. Yes, it wasn't pleasant but it was worth it. There is long wait times to see any specialist. To end my essay, my mom is sad he is leaving for Vancouver as she will have to find another specialist. But wishing him all the best.

I have been seeing Dr. Bujac for over 6 years, went through 2 cataract operations, and two Corneal Transplants. I found him to be kind, professional, and extremely good at what he does. His staff are very kind and helpful. I have to agree that each follow up visit was very long. He has such a busy practice, and I am so very greatful that he was able to help me, otherwise I would eventually go blind. I wish him the very best in his new practice. Their gain, but our loss. A great humanitarian. He gives of his time to travel to countries around the world to help those who would otherwise go blind. He will be missed greatly.

Quite possibly the worst doctor experience I’ve ever had. First off the wait is ridiculous. 3-4 hours is normal. Suggestion for his future practise in Vancouver: do not over book. It’s clear it’s all about the money. Secondly, the doctor lacks any sort of empathy or feelings for his patients. You wait months to see him, only for him to tell you to come back in another 6 months as he can’t comment on surgery outcomes. Stay away from this doctor - you will not be satisfied by any aspect of his practise.

Dr. Bujak is an excellent doctor. He has a very busy schedule and wait times are long. I had cataract surgery for both eyes and no problem. His assistant Mariangela is super.Too bad Dr Bujak is moving his practice out of province.Ontario's loss.

Dr. Bujak is a marvel. In my experience every specialist in Toronto has an unbelievably busy schedule and can have longer waiting times than a family GP. That being said, I feel incredibly fortunate to live in Canada where I and my family can have access to world reknowned surgeons at no cost! Dr. Bujak demonstrated exceptional ability and thoughtfulness when caring for my son. He went beyond expectation in keeping us informed every step of the way during an exceptionally stressful time; his attentiveness could not be faulted. We will be forever grateful to him for his care and surgical skill that ultimately saved my son's eye. While we are very sorry to see him go we wish him well in Vancouver.

A very rude and unhelpful doctor. Appointment arranged for 1.30pm upon arrival I was told to take a seat, and the doctor would call me. After one hour, I inquired when I would be seeing the doctor. The receptionist told me it could be up to another 3 hours at that moment Dr. Bujak came to the receptionist to request some information. I took the opportunity to ask him why the delay was so long as we had arranged a specific appointment time, I was informed if I didn't want to wait I could leave because that is the way it is if I wish to see him. I did leave. I have since written him a letter objecting to his manner. His reply was that maybe I should use a private service if I want better service. Rating him on his knowledge is impossible if he doesn't see his patients.

Dr Bujak is the most wonderful eye surgeon anywhere. He gave me cataract surgery and partial cornea transplants. That was four years ago and I have almost 20/20 vision. I would highly recommend him. He is over and above a terrific man. Every year I look forward to seeing him.
