I’ve been seeing Dr Motasheri for 10 years. She is very knowledgeable, takes a lot of time with her patients, and is some one I trust with my medical health. My daughter sees her as well. Highly recommended.

We came to see Dr. Motasheri when we moved to McLean. Our first visit was pleasant enough. We were sent to see a maternal fetal medicine doctor. During our visit we were told that our son had a thickened nucal translucency after two contradicting measurements were taken. The maternal fetal medicine doctor recommended that my wife undergo CVS. Since the two measurements of the nucal translucency test were contradictory and my wife had not yet had genetic counseling or a blood test, we were hesitant to undergo this invasive procedure which carries a risk of miscarriage. We contacted Dr. Motasheri who took a very long time to get back to us. Without looking at the results of the tests herself, she told us we should have CVS done as she trusted the doctor she sent us to. Thankfully we received second opinions from other OBs who informed us this was not the regular standard of care. We stopped seeing Dr. Motasheri because of this. Thankfully, our son was born without any health problems.
