For those of you who will not read this full review: please do NOT trust this doctor with your life or your baby’s life. We have lost a loved baby and Dr. Ben Omran did not fulfil her duties as she should have under her practice.

After consulting many specialists all around the GTA such as Sick Kids, Mount Sinai, Toronto General Hospital and private cares all health care professions were extremely disturbed at the lack of care and negligence from Ben. I would not consider this lady a doctor.

There are many things I can describe and give examples of from this horrific person, she was extremely rude, dismissive, cold, very rough with the pregnant mother and has zero remorse. I would hope this lady loses her license as we would never wish this upon anyone.

Please, do NOT go to this lady. Read all of the other reviews as well, this is not a one time case. Ben must be held accountable for her lack of care, lack of testing, lack of understanding of medical conditions and how to help solve issues and problems within the mother and baby. She is a disgrace to OBGYNs in this world. We will be taking further action upon this however just know that when Ben was advised of her negligence and the risk of losing this baby (which in the end we did lose our baby), she said “why are you so mad or upset?” This is someone’s life we are talking about which should be handled with care and compassion, also there is no point of consulting a person like Ben (I refuse to call her a doctor) when she either has a fake degree or did not attend medical school. I refuse to believe she has any medical practice and her license should be revoked.

Please feel free to reach out if anyone has any questions or would like full complete details regarding this person.

Happened to meet this doctor when she was on duty at Brampton Civic hospital. My wife was admitted with labor pain and her water was broke on the same day. The dilation was 3cm for 6 long hours. We were trying for VBAC. In this crucial timing doctor came for a round and started shouting without any reason and was very rude in her behavior. She was asking why didn’t we decide for C section in last 9 months of time considering the 1% risk in VBAC.

Once she left, nurses stayed back for Epidural. The nurses were really great and knowledgeable. They provided us all the support and guidance which we needed. The entire delivery was done by a nurse fortunately. Only the last few min Doctor was present.

The rating provided for staff is for nurses/team at the time of delivery at hospital.

If you care about your health stay away, I was referred to her by the hospital. She misdiagnosed me and had me on the wrong medication for nearly a year. I would bleed for months and a time and she would tell me it is normal. I went to the hospital and got treated for an infection when she told me I was fine. I complained about ovary pain, she dismissed me and said it was cramping. I went to the hospital with bleeding and turns out I have a cyst. She always dismissed me and my symptoms. I have been in pain for almost a year and a half. I’m scared I won’t be able to have children anymore. She only seems to care about patients that are pregnant.

I had a terrible experience to the point where after my first consult (which lasted less than a minute) I told her I’d just go back to my family doctor. I read the reviews and thought they weren’t accurate. She was incredibly rude and asked “why she was here” when I told her I had extreme pain in my pelvis. She was just interested in inserting an IUD and when I said I had one, she said she would decline the referral. Do yourself a favour and stay away!
The appointment I had was rescheduled 3 times by her clinic (original referral came in July and I finally met with her end of October). The clinic also implied that it was an in-person consult but she called me an hour and a half before our scheduled time..

Check Reprimand Letter 2017 for the Gynaecologist. I should have take my intuition seriously. It’s a life lesson I need to strengthen. Trusting a Doctor these days comes with doing a background and observing the first appointment with an open mind when going to a consultation. .

After seeing her for a consult, she had no idea what the consult was for, until I explained my entire history. Then after ignoring my symptoms she referred back to the referral request, and said that’s not what I wAs here for and that i need to do a sono.

Fast forward a few months later when I did the sono which was a normal well executed procedure by her staff...her staff said i had to wait for the doctor. then after waiting 10 minutes spread eagle, dr Ben Omran rushes in to do the sono and suddenly decides to take a biopsy. I’ve never experienced so much pain - I had even taken 800 mg of Advil. I was in tears and crawling up the bed away from her. I feel like she was scraping the inside of my cervix with the blade of a knife back and forth. I bled for 3 days and could not even think about sex for at least a month without thinking the trauma of someone cutting me inside.

My follow up with her was stating that by accident they got a polip out, then she just pushed an IUD prescription on me with zero patient education, threatening that I’d be Sick with anemia if I became pregnant - I’ve never been anemic in my life - I’ve not used hormonal contraceptives in 14 years. I asked her for more information and said “I can tell you won’t be back”... you were right.. IUD is the only solution to cysts polio’s and abnormal cramping?? Gold Jerry that’s gold. Sounds like someone’s getting commission.

Overall I left my appoint feeling so violated, tortured, and sold to.

For a woman Dr to have zero empathy to the pain of a biopsy without numbing agents while she is menstruating is horrific especially coming from a female doctor. I’m so disappointed and frankly traumatized by her bedside manner.

I would describe her as very Rough and a pharma pusher. She treats her practice like an assembly line clearly looking for high patient traffic for more Ohip money.

Steer clear. You’ll feel like a waste of her 3 minutes she spends with you.

Great music though....

Worst doctor. I have no clue how is she still allowed to practice inspite of so many negative experiences. Why is our health system so low standard? Cant they find any food doctors anymore? Zero star from me.

I agree with all of the negative ratings for this doctor. She is rude, late, makes you feel silly for asking questions, you wait an hour for or more just to be seen for literally 30 seconds. She is always on her ipad looking at your chart as she is talking to you or answering your question (no eye contact). Her computer is never up to date so you have to re-tell her your story. This is my first pregnancy after an IVF and you would think she would be a little compassionate. Nope. I am currently looking for new, nicer doctor that will help me with my questions instead of dismissing my concerns. DO NOT go to this doctor.
