I discovered Dr. Jamali when we moved to Orange County in 2004. I had so much confidence in her that she also became my husband's doctor. She is an extremely knowledgeable doctor and is a very kind and caring person. She refers you to specialists when needed. When my husband developed pancreatitis the specialist couldn't figure out the cause of it. When he returned to Dr. Jamali for a follow up appointment, she was determined to find the cause and did research and found that it was a very rare side effect from a new medication that he had been taking. If Dr. Jamali had not taken the time to do this he would have had a recurrence of the pancreatitis. She is truly a "one of a kind" doctor. We currently live out of the area and drive two hours to have her continue as our doctor.

This doctor has changed my life. I am in final stages of heart failure. My A1 doctors out of HOAG were simly taking my tests and watching the numbers sink each month. I was in the emergency room regularly. They told me a transplant for me was out of the question. I ended up in the emergency room at Laguna Hospital ant that is where I meet Dr. Jamali. From that point on everything changed for me. I switched my primary to her and everything she did was a positive step to getting me back on my feet. She changed my deds and never let me loose hope. She didn't blow sunshine my way she just got me into doctors who believed they could make a difference and they did. She went to bat for me and I am now in the pre transplant program at Cedar Sinai. Again the doctors there are cut from the same mold as Dr. Jamali. I think of her as my angel and she has the unique ability to counsel and effectively cheer lead at the same time. She won't let you quit and she will not quit on you.
