Best of the best! He saved my life! Dr. Chaudhury did my cholecystectomy. This surgery was not easy, with my bad heart condition (close to needing heart surgery), my high tolerance to opioids (making it very hard to put me under), the fact my gallbladder was incredibly swollen, infected, leaking bile & stones were entering my liver causing jaundice. With all that, he managed the surgery like it was nothing.
He also helped me with my addiction issue at the same time & because of his kind-heartedness & understanding of my situation, I was able to safely detox during my 9 day stay at the MUHC & have been clean since. He definitely cares a lot about his patients & I owe him more than words can describe.

Dr. Chaudry is amazing. From the moment I met him, I knew he was the guy. I've never met anybody with such natural calm and confidence. Dr. Chaudry removed a 40 pound tumor from my abdomen last year; the surgery lasted over 7 hours and it was a success. He was able to remove everything in one shot, with clear margins. Dr. Chaudry was by my side through everything and checked in on me daily, post surgery. I have never been in such awe of any person, as I am for this man. He saved my life and I will be forever grateful for chance that he has given me.

Dr chaudhury is one of a kind if you are luck enough to have this man as your dr consider yourself lucky. He is the most calm dr I have ever meet. He deals with cancer all the time and he is so calm and always ready with a smile even in the worse situation. He takes the time to answer any of your questions. My mom’s mri ran late but he make sure to wait for the mri scab to give us news that day. Good or bad this man has the experience and knowledge to help you have ever he can.

An outstanding person && an exceptional surgeon. I know him from the time he was a student of Dr Metrakos at McGill when my mother in law had issues from a very bad laparoscopic outcome done by other dr at Jewish hospital. Unfortunately for her, the Roux en Y bile duct repair done by dr. Metrakos stopped functioning this year and in spring dr. Chaudhurry redid it from scratch 100% successfully . I believe he is as good if not better than his teacher(s)! From when he was a student he was a caring person for the patients that were under his follow up. He always listen to his patient. A world class surgeon in my opinion.
