Lisa has a way of putting me at ease. She is the kindest, most gentle midwife. She has so much knowledge and is so helpful. I had a very long and tough labor that eventually resulted in a csection but she was with me for an entire 24 hours helping and guiding me through it. I couldn’t imagine not having her as a midwife, she is truly the best

Due to a staffing situation in Surrey memorial I had to go to peace arch hospital and that situation was blessing in disguise for me , I was in introduced to dr Liza . I don't think I would have survived by delivery without her , she was we excellent and patient and even though she had a long day already , and yet due to my emergency did a home visit first , took me to Peacharch and stayed with me for 18 hours ! I would only want her as my midwife going forward . She was caring and thoughtful and absolutely love her . She was also training a young wonderful girl Karen who was with us throughout and was just as amazing ! Definitely recommend Dr Liza Boyd.

Lisa was my favourite midwife at Semiahmoo Midwives. She is experienced and has a gentle, calm manner that put me at ease. I often saw her during my pregnancy and chose to see her at my final appointment (you can choose who to see at your six week visit). If I have another baby, I hope she's there at my delivery. Agree with the other comment that the secretary isn't the friendliest, but don't let that put you off. Highly recommended.

Lisa is an amazing Midwife who has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Both of my children were delivered by her. She has a knack of perfecting the experience of birth, highly recommended.

Loved my midwife! When we moved and found out we were expecting our 3rd child, I quickly found room in Lisa's practice. She was supportive and caring when I miscarried at 8 weeks - even though we hadn't met yet for my first appointment. When we found out we were expecting again several months later, I reached out to her again. My experience during my pregnancy was wonderful. I would definitely recommend her and her team of midwives... my only negative was that her secretary isn't the friendliest person in the world.
