Dr. D. Baron conducted a colonoscopy and a gastroscopy in December 2023, however besides a 3 minute consultation right after the procedure, I never heard from the doctor again, nor about the result of the CT scan that he had requested. My several phone calls and emails to reach the doctor's office have never been answered by March 2024. I have never experienced such an unresponsive doctor's office. The receptionist is so inattentive to a degree of rudeness.

I've had a few gastroscopies done by Dr. Baron. In my experience, his bedside manner has improved over time. He is very knowledgable and helpful.

I do agree with other comments that his office administration seems extremely disorganized. It's virtually impossible to get a hold of anyone via phone (voicemail is always full and rarely get a call back in the 48 hrs if you're lucky to leave a message) or email. They cancelled one of my procedures last minute and then tried to schedule me in the next day like I'm sitting on my hands doing nothing.

I have only had 2 zoom calls withDr Baron but I found him to be helpful, knowledgeable and easy to talk to…a very pleasant man. I will meet him for when I undergo procedures at the hospital soon. His Medical Admin Assistant has been fantastic to deal with so far via telephone and emails. She is very personable and extremely helpful.

Dr Baron is a godsend. I write this from my hospital bed where I firmly believe he saved my life. I saw five doctors over four ER visits in three days. All of them dismissed me with a stomach bug. Within five minutes of seeing me in my final emergency visit, Dr Baron had the wisdom and experience to suspect and name the rare illness that I have and was relentless in testing and treating me over the past few days to confirm his diagnosis and get me on a path to my wellness. I am grateful for his experience, his bedside manner and his care.

His one long time secretary doesn’t engage the patients at all by phone. It’s all email. Very cold and robotic. I’ve left multiple messages asking this woman to call me back and she hasn’t! What kind of admin doesn’t take phone calls or at the very least won’t call a patient back? They have a girl there now? Angela I think is her name or Amanda. What a lovely lady, called me back after hearing my frustrated voicemail. Apologized and asked why I was never contacted by phone and then reiterated that, that is how she handles certain cases but stressed the office is extremely busy. I’m grateful that she at least took the time to explain to me what was going on instead of another cryptic email from that other one! Liza. This woman definitely needs to retire because she couldn’t give two ounces of ****! about his patients. I hope that Angela stays. I rated the Staff, Punctuality, & helpfulness on account of Angela. What a great brief and compassionate phone call regarding my appointment in April. As for David? Well, I’ve been with him many years now but he really needs to bring someone else on board besides that woman he’s had forever. She’s gotta go. Not a fan of her at all.

He had a great reputation and it feels like he’s banking in that (and his ego) but he should retire. Zero bedside manner and like others have said he ushers you out if he doesn’t have an answer. There’s no help here. No consideration of how it makes you feel after losing 20 pounds you didn’t need to lose and you’re nauseous daily to have your dr say there’s no reason to see him again. No help whatsoever

I have ha 3 colonoscopies done with dr Baron. Although anxious before my first, this dr , whose calm and caring manner was reassuring and put me at ease. The procedure was relatively quick and totally painless. I would recommend Dr Baron as a most competent and knowledgeable Dr.
