The dr. Is amazing and very knowledgeable. All my kids have seen her since they were babies. I have nothing but good things to say about her but unfortunately I can’t say the same for her receptionist. She is absolutely rude and condescending. Her receptionist needs to go.

Not a pleasant experience. Felt very rushed, and didn't feel the warmth that you normally feel with ped doctors. Receptionist was VERY rude and short over the phone anytime you try to speak with her its a mistake. For these two reasons, I wont be returning.

Dr. Reysner listens and asks questions. She is good around kids (surprisingly some ped docs are not). However her MOA Christina is terrible. She is always rushing to get off the phone. Whenever I have a follow up question to whatever she was calling about, she hangs up the phone as I am asking the question. She has also been rude and condescending. Finding a pediatrician takes a long time in BC and my child has waited a long time already to see Dr reysner so I don't want to switch drs now. :(

My child has been seen by Dr Reysner for serval years now. She is simply awesome. Very friendly and warm, knowledgeable and very helpful. You can definitely tell she loves what she does and cares for her patients. However, like many have said, her receptionist is simply a hag. She is abrupt, condescending and very unpleasant to deal with. She once gave me a 5 minute lecture because I arrived for my childs appointment on time but the Dr was late. Even though the waiting and exam rooms were empty, it was during Covid and she simply could not have people loitering about the office. Nevermind the 1/2 dozen times she will call to confirm an appointment, always commenting on the number of times she needs to leave a message even though I had already called back to confirm the appointment after the 1st call. Its lucky Dr Reysner is so good at her job.

My children have seen Dr. Lotocka-Reysner for a few years and I couldn't be happier. She is kind, patient and very thorough. Besides being so knowledgeable she will also go a step further just to be sure of things, I feel lucky to have met her.

Dr Hanna Lotocka-Reysner has been amazing. She has great bedside manner and is knowledgeable. Her receptionist, on the other hand, is very robotic when she speaks and uses the incorrect choice of words. Definitely not someone who possesses customer service skills and doesn’t seem to thrive in a customer/patient facing work environment. She rushes to get off the phone and has simply avoided answering my question after she was done with her “speech” on the phone. She then hung up on me while I was still recapping our conversation. It’s frustrating to deal with her but I do like the doctor. I read reviews on here and noticed that others have also experienced her negative behaviour and it looks like she has been behaving this way for years...

I recommend the doctor but just know that it comes with some very painful interactions with her MOA.

Dr. Reysner is amazing! Always very helpful and informative. Her receptionist on the other hand is so rude, condescending, and insensitive! I love speaking with Dr. Reysner, but I’ve grown to hate calling/visiting due to her receptions poor service. I’m shocked that she’s still even employed there due to her awful and behaviour. Considering finding a new Dr. just so I don’t have to deal with her receptionist. She needs to hire new staff!!

Dr. Hanna Lotocka- Reysner is great. She never rushes through the appointment and makes sure all my questions are answered. She has a great bedside manner with my child, and they enjoy going to the appointments. I am glad to see I am not the only one who has an issue with her receptionist. I thought it was personal, but seeing the note below I can see that she just has a off-putting personality.

Dr Reysner is lovely and supportive. Christina her receptionist however is AWFUL. She is ALWAYS rude, short, pushy and plain ignorant. She should NOT be in a customer service position, certainly not one involving (sick) kids and parents. Every time I speak to her I think about finding another pediatrician (and likely will at some point). Sadly I think Dr Reysner's choice of staff, reflects poorly on her.

Both my sons are patients of Dr. Lotocka-Reysner for 12 years now and she has always gone over and beyond for both my boys. I first met her by chance at Burnaby General, when I bought in my youngest son and she notice my old baby and asked if I have ever notice my son had a small head. As a mother my son was petfect to me so no I didn't notice. Doctor gave me het card and told me to make an appointment with her, so I did and she sent me to almost every department at children's hospital to help us get all the answers we needed for my eldest son that if not for her we would have never known of this rare syndrome my son has. So thank you to Dr. Hanna Lotocka-Reysner for sticking by my family and doing all you can do to get me the treatments and help I needed for my son.
