Although Dr. B ran multiple tests on me that would show an issue--and once no "physical" anomalies were detected--his determination to diagnose and help me became nonexistent (if ever there at all). I've been to the Cleveland Clinic for years with chronic pain issues; their Pain Management department is entirely different than my experience with the Digestive Department. One doctor in Pain Management tried for years to help and diagnose my illness. Even after all my tests came back negative, he never tired and never wavered in an attempt to aid me. The exact opposite occurred with Dr. B. After multiple tests and visits, I still sought help for my grave problem; on the contrary, the only thing Dr. B sought was a nap, or possibly lunch. Even though I said I could not continue living a normal life, he did not refer me to another dr. or offer any advice, but rather stared at me, saying nothing; he even took away my medicine. It seemed as though he wanted me out of his ever receding hair.

Vast amount of experience treating patients with esophageal disorders. Very polite, kind and knowledgeable. I was treated for achalasia. My dilation was successful. Most gastroenterologists treat very few patients with this disorder, don't waste your time. See Dr. Birgisson, he has extensive expertise!
