Simply put, Dr. Pinchuk is my hero. From our very first meeting and throughout my journey, he went about explaining things in a way that we could understand, drawing diagrams and writing specifics so that we could take it away and digest what was going on - always delivering with empathy, patience and understanding. He has never hesitated to provide invaluable perspective and insight, taking things to the board as necessary, so that I had full medical guidance and never felt alone in my decision making. He truly has been a safety net and a voice of reason when I was overwhelmed. What is clear is that behind the title, credentials and experience, is a really good human being who cares about his patients. On surgery day, a day where I was terrified, he stepped up and reassured me - a gesture that truly meant the world to me and I knew that I was in good hands. I have the utmost respect for him, and I am so grateful to have him in my corner.

Dr. Pinchuk is an excellent surgeon. He did my surgery beautifully. I hardly needed any painkillers afterwards. He is also very charming.

I was highly referred to Dr. Pinchuk as a knowlegable and amazing surgeon. He truly is! I had a lumpectomy and a revision of a previous surgery that I had 3 months ago. He is extremely organized and made me feel at ease with explaining my diagnosis of invasive ductal carcinoma. Being a teacher myself, I loved the way he uses visuals to drew out diagrams on the paper that covers the table where you lie down on! This way I thoroughly understood everything and calmed my nerves. My lumpectomy went well and he got out clear margins. I am so grateful that I was referred to him as I was truly in great hands! Thank you Dr. Pinchuk for all that you have done!

I just left an appointment with Dr. Pinchuk and felt so much better about my situation. He was kind, calm and thorough in explaining everything. I thought I need to give this doctor a 5 star review. I came here and read the first review that appeared. Her experience was exactly like mine. He is consistently great! Dr. Pinchuk is simply the BEST! My mother was recently diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer, which was extremely scary for us as we knew nothing about it. At our first consult with Dr. Pinchuk, he explained everything about the diagnosis in a way that we would understand, drew diagrams for us, and explained the treatment options. He was so kind, compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, and we instantly felt at ease in his presence. He made the whole thing way less scary and we felt so confident in his abilities. The nurse, Kim, was extremely helpful as well and made us feel like she really cared about us. She had gone ahead and pre-registered my mom for a peer support group, and told us we could contact her anytime with questions. Before booking the surgery, we emailed Kim with a few questions, and Dr. Pinchuk then scheduled a call with us to go through our questions together. He made sure to review each of our questions one by one to ensure that everything was addressed. We were so impressed by this - the fact that he made time for us on the phone meant so much, and helped us make our decision about the surgery. Booking the lumpectomy was a very easy process (Michelle, the receptionist is wonderful). The lumpectomy went extremely well, and Dr. Pinchuk got clear margins. I will be forever grateful that we had Dr. Pinchuk as my mom's surgeon. Thank you!

Dr pinchuk and his entire staff were just simply amazing. Can’t thank him enough. He explained my surgery in person first and then made me feel comfortable and relaxed regarding my procedure. I know I only had a hernia operation but for someone who has always been afraid of medical procedures pinchuk and his entire team made it so much more comforting.
I highly recommend him as his knowledge was comforting. Glad to see I was in good hands. :)

A couple of months ago I got diagnosed with breast cancer but I’m so grateful I was referred to Dr.Pinchuk.
During my first appointment he took his time to explain my diagnosis, went over different options of the treatment, answered all my questions patiently while I was trying to put myself together. My surgery went well and I’m in recovery now. Dr.Pinchuk always listens to your concerns carefully and takes everything into consideration to make sure you have the best outcome. His office is well organized and always on point with the follow-ups and appointments. I knew I was in great hands since my first meeting with him.

Dr.Pinchuk is a talented surgeon and just a great human being: kind, honest, caring, compassionate.

Dr. Pinchuk didn't talk down to me, but explained clearly about my breast cancer and the treatment I needed. He answered my questions before and after the surgery. The operation went well and things are healing up. His office manager/administrator is amazing. She answered all my queries right away and in a very pleasant manner.

Two years ago Dr.P helped me diagnosed my breast cancer. I started with chemo before my surgery. Dr.P then removed my breast along with 2 sentinel lymph nodes. I also had reconstruction and radiation after. The surgery went smoothly and I was clear till 2 months ago when I was found to have a recurrence in my armpit. I asked for a 2nd opinion elsewhere, a review of my case showed that in my previous sentinel nodes I had some metastatic cancer cells but no additional surgery was discussed at that time. I think Dr. P missed it. I’m not going back to Dr.P and NYGH. According to my current oncologist, Dr. P should have offered me more lymph node surgery at that time but he didn’t. I’m disappointed, I am now getting more chemo, and I’ll find another surgeon to remove my lymph nodes later.

Dr. Brian Pinchuk one of the most amazing Doctors ever dealt with; patient and understanding. I cannot express my gratitude for everything he is doing and has done for my Father. One Amazing Doctor.
